Revenge is a dish best served cold!

When someone has wronged you do you seek revenge or do you just let it go? I always think about getting revenge on people, but when it comes down to it I don't do anything. I could have really messed some peoples lives up in the past, but I wimped out and let it go. Not until after I let the hate and desire for revenge fester of course.

Sometimes I do get revenge but it's rather subtle and people may not realize that it's revenge. Sometimes it's more deliberate and obvious but sometimes some people just need that extra push to realize what's going on. I'm not completely evil about revenge or anything. It's just enough to become annoying. That's pretty much it.

See, you can't be subtle with the dumb ones though. Some of them you just gotta make it painfully obvious you are getting back at them or it will go straight over their head.

I am total agreement with you. Even thow I am a scorpio and its often said that we are very vengeful. In my mind maybe but actively No. I dont have enough time and energy to add something of such small reaping for me. Also I am a firm believer that everything will resolve on its own. You know the deal. You are a notorious pen thief. Then one day you look up and all you can ever find are CRAYONS to write with. Haha

There is a certain someone I know that I would LOVE to get revenge on, but as you say it will resolve on its own eventually. Karma is a witch with a "B". I know he will get his soon enough.

There are a few people that I could really ruin their lives if I tried to seek revenge on them. Maybe that is part of what keeps me from doing it. Did what they did to me really deserve me messing up the rest of their lives?

I don't think revenge is ever really justified. Violence only begets more violence and to seek revenge is just fueling that cycle. I think that the satisfaction you feel after revenge, is short lived, especially if you have a strong conscious, as you're hurting other people. I don't think letting it fester is healthy for anyone. At the same time I don't think it's constructive to just "let it go" I think if you've been wronged, you should stand up for yourself, and call attention to whatever whoever did. I'm sure they know what they did was wrong, if they show it or not, deep down, I feel that they do.

True. I think part of the reason why I don't get revenge on a certain someone is that it is really not worth the effort. I am sure they know too, but they just done care. That part makes me want the revenge.
