or do you have any changes in your mood when your period comes? i observed i tend to get easily irritated over little things when i menstruate, and i also feel sleepy all the time. but that's about it. i am very lucky i do not experience severe pain at all, it's just the minor discomfort that a woman usually feels when she has her period. what about you? do you get cranky? or moody? what signs tell you that your period is coming?

I don't, but before my period I am very cranky, ,like right now , I am so cranky and grumpy and I put it all out on my hubby. When my period comes, I feel so energized and sometimes I make general cleaning during the first day of my period. Then the second day I feel so lazy and sleepy. weird menstrual attitude pattern I have

hmm..the hubby is the same too. he gets to be the shock absorber of my crankiness when the period is coming (like yesterday. i shouted at him in the morning and then again in the evening. good thing my husband is a patient man. ). heeeyyy..are we like spiritual sisters? we have so many things in common!

I don't get cranky (at least not severely). I have bad cravings for chocolate and salt. Salt's the worst. I also have less physical control over what my body does and doesn't do. This is bad because I don't have that much control over it anyway on a good day.

hmm.. no food cravings for me. i crave for food all the time, so it wouldn't be useful as an indicator that my period is coming

I do get a little cranky when my period is coming. I get upset and cry easily too. Other than that, I sometimes get backache. I don't have bad cramps like some people, or maybe I just ignore it. I may have a high threshold of pain. Whatever it is, I try to keep my moods in check.

yes, women feel the eerie feeling in those days. but women who have regular cycles suffer less from this. those who bleed irregularly are more at the receiving end. for that, it is the woman who should be careful. avoid too much strenuous work during that period. see movies which you like. try to be in as good mood as possible. if still not satisfied, then hormones like estrogen and progesterone may help the cause..... bye and take care..

I dont know because I am a man, but I do feel my spouse do not feel that well for a couple of days. I try to be extra nice and give her a little of massage during that time.

...actually, what really irritates me is that every month i have to suffer this red flag thing.. then, one time, i was delayed for almost 2 months--- (am not pregnant for sure) so i was alarmed, it's unusual coz i had it regularly. so i realize, its better to have it than none. coz it would mean something if it didn't come... ...mode swing is definitely present but i learned to control it.. though i have some lapses sometime.. and hot flushes..

Hi there Kaye! When my period is coming, and when it arrives, I am usually irritable like you, getting angry at the smallest thing and I am always sleepy.
