If you were given the chance to live a second life...

Paulsy, this is a very good post. I, personally, have had days when I wish I would have done things differently. I was pregnant at 17 and had to grow up very fast. I got married at 19 and thought that it was forever. I had my second child at 20. I didn't even get to live life like most people my age because I was at home raising babies. I joined the Army to take my life on the right track. I am now 27, disabled, in the midst of a divorce, have the best boyfriend a girl could ask for, 3 step children that I can't wait to watch grow up, and the 2 best daughters I could've ever dreamed for. Looking back...my past is what made me who I am now. A very strong, independent woman. I would do it over again and again and again. I wouldn't change ANYTHING for the world. Thanks for the post :D

Hello paulsy, If I were given a chance, I will take it. There are a few parts in my life that I wish I could change. But for overall, I am still happy with my life and I wish to have the same life even if I have a second chance for it. Life is not perfect and that we have to agree...

i would to choose to live my life the way as it should because im contented with it now.and i know God wants me to be like this and the the other people think of living should be for the riches.for me living your life to the fullest and contentment is enough for me.if given the chance to have a second life here on earth i will surely be ME.

I must admit... I am one of those people who just want to give up when it gets to be too much. Even if we had a second chance at life, we couldn't change what happens to us...but we could change how we react to it. I would choose the same life...but react differently to some situations.

wow 2 months ago and your discussion still came up as a topic. I think I would want to be me again, but I would take those other choices I have had in life and see where that would get me. There are things in my life I would never trade for anything, but there days I wonder would I have my kids if I would have done the other choices in my life. Would I be in the situation I am in now if I would have jus done one little thing different. I would want to start all over again, but still remeber what I chose to do the first time and where it brought me. That way I would no if I wanted to do that again or take the other way.

Every day is a chance to start a brand new life. We can't simply discard our current life. But, choices we make shape the future life. So, in a way, it's possible to live a brand new life, "the second time around." That is, if we make good decisions, today! Thanks for the insightful discussion.
