Hello guys! Any HR out there who can help me with this? I am often called for an interview and I ended up with this question "Why should I hire you?". What is the appropriate answer to this kind of question. Coz after my interview, I was not called back for the next process. Anyone out there, help me get this right.

Although I am not an HR person I will tell you that when asked this question myself I always have answered with honesty that they should hire me because I am hard-working, rarely absent from work and am always willing to help others when time permits. Usually the interviewers want to hear positive things from you that they can like to hear, not just things like "because I really need a job". they want to see how you are as a person and an employee. Giving them positive things about your work habits gives you a plus

The biggest thing to remember in an interview is to stay calm, no matter what silly questions they may ask. Sometimes they try to make you nervous just to see how well you can handle sudden stresses. Just relax, be yourself and try not to get to talkative.Just answer the questions as best you can and things should be okay. Remember too, that you are not always going to be the most qualified person they talked to so if they don't hire you don't take it personally
