Good morning - Morning, sunrise

EARLY TO BED AND EARLY TO RISE MAKES A MAN HEALTHY WEALTHY AND WISE My parents used to teach me these lines in my childhood.I had learnt these by heart;but it seems that now when I am living a professional life I can't follow these guidelines. I get up at 9:00, as me office is at 10:00.But still I am making money, hmm health is ok, mind is up-to-date. How early do you get up?? are you able to follow these guidelines?? !!CHEERS!!

I get up at 10 or 11 in the morning I know that will change when I have my son but right now I don't have any children in the house. So its hard for me to set a bedtime for myself and get up early again. I'm going to bed at like 1 or 2 a.m. My son is 4 years old and its a long story but I can say is that I have court coming up soon to get him. Plus I have a baby on the way.

Since the beginning of summer I've been getting up around 5:30am. A friend of mine and I started an in-home daycare and I have to travel about an hour to get to her house. I was getting up at 4:30am because my hubby had to be at work by 6 so I would drop him off on the way there. That was wayyy tooo early for me. Now that we're looking for a place more closer to the daycare I'm sure I'll be able to sleep in longer but until then it's early to rise.

I hate getting up early, I have never been good at it and before I had children I would never be up until dinnertime. Now though I have to get up earlier for the kids, so I am up at around 7am on a school day and about 9 am of a weekend so I do still have a bit of a lie in. I do not go to bed early either so I guess that is why I am not wealthy and wise, I am pretty healthy though!

Since school started, I have been getting up at 6 in the morning, take the dogs out. From there, I get my youngest up and ready for school, after she gets on the bus. I basically start all over again, by getting my oldest up and ready to go. I don't do to bed until around 10:30-11 at night, then get up and do it all over again the next day. Weird thing, since school has started I haven't been able to sleep late on the weekends. I always wake up around the time, my kids are getting on the bus.

It will get better once the detour through our neighborhood is over. With it, I don't know exactly when the bus will be coming through. I also have 2 neighborhood kids that comes to my house to catch the bus with my youngest, so they get here around 6:30. It isn't fun, because I have been having a lot of headaches from not getting a lot of sleep that I was used to during the summer vacation. Tomorrow morning, I won't get to sleep in, because my husband wants to cook chilli before he lays down to sleep before he goes to work at night. I find it funny how my kids have a hard time getting up in the morning during the week, but are up around the time I want them to on the weekend. Not this weekend, but the next, I have to babysit a neighbors kid the whole weekend. At least, I'm going to be paid for it. !!! Happy Mylotting to you to!!!

Well right now, it's 12:30...I've only been awake for half an hour..haha...But, that's because it's the weekend, and I love to sleep in when I get the chance... On a normal weekday, I'm up at about 7:15AM, and I work until 8 or 9 PM...So when the weekend comes, I get all the sleep I can get the make sure I have the energy to do it all again the following week... -Mike

i wake up on weekdays at 7 am. currently, since its ramadhan in the middle east, we've adjusted my office hours to start at 9 am. during the weekends, i wake up at 10 am.

Ramadhan is a holy season for the Muslims. This is being observed here (for being in a Muslim country - Mideast). I don't know exactly how it originated but every Ramadhan, office hours are shortened. So, they've adjusted my office hours from 8 hours to 6 hours, starting at 9 am. Currently, i wake at 7 am.

Hmmmm I get up about 7:30 am sometimes earlier an you know what I don't think that and early riser or a person early to bed changes things much. LOL!! It depends solely on the persons motivation. LOL!!!

That saying originated when most people tilled the land for a living. To this end, they needed to be in the field by sunup. When you get up that early and do manual labor all day, you will naturally be in bed shortly after sundown. Those who did not adhere to that schedule usually didn't produce much. It does not apply to office workers.

I'm an "early to rise" person, but I have an awfully hard time going to bed early. Often I fall asleep on the couch or in a chair, but when I get up to get ready for bed, I'm awake and have to sit up (in bed) and watch television or read until I can no longer keep my eyes open.
• India
