I'd love to talk with a friend alone for hours.

I wish that I could go to a Starbucks Coffee shop, sit with my best friend and just talk with her for hours. We both have very active little boys who keep us busy and we hardly have friendship time anymore. I miss her, greatly. She's a phone call away but our boys dominate our telephone time. Sadly, I will not be doing this today, as my husband has a fantasy football draft to attend and that takes them hours. What would you like to do today if you had all the time in the world?

Since I really don't have any close friends and my family is not close either we have to IM or e-mail. I guess I would be either watching tv or reading if I had a lot of free time.

I live in a very busy area. I know that around here just going to sit alone at a coffeeshop is an easy way to meet someone willing to talk..... I don't know about hearing problems but you never know.

Well if I had all the time in the world I would work on my clay. Today however I cannot do anything that needs water (I wash my hands frequently when working with clay) cause we are having plumbing problems. So my day is pretty mch shot.

I use stoneware slip for slip casting molds (I own nearly 200 molds and my own kiln). But I work with polymer clays also. Both of which involves the washing of my hands alot. I might work on some painting I wanted to get done today though. I don't have a wheel but wish I did. I also have some molds that are for porcelin dolls and have some porcelin slip that I have just begun to work with.

Oh yes, a fellow clay lover. What kind of clay do you work with. I'm a stoneware girl but I was learning to throw on the wheel with porcelain.... before I stopped working with it. I miss it. Must go back to it soon.

Actually my granddaughter and my daughter in law and I went to the Minnesota Zoo. The company her and my son work for paid for a catered lunch then free tickets into the zoo. The weather was not the greatest when we arrived but it turned out to be a good day.

Oh, I love just talking for a long time, but it depends who I am talking to because some people have no spontaneity or they get boring fast. But I always have loads of free time, I just wish I had something to do!

Im really tired of speaking to human, i had enough with humans even i'm a human but then all i have seen in people is just hypocrisy and i really dont want to be with people who dont like me i have very few friends around me who are most of the time very busy with their own chores. All i want to do is im longing to do is prayers and learn music , yes both are my favourites i simply forget the world and worries if im doing these both at times even my guy irritates me but these two things are my best support

It is nice to have time talking to a friend alone if time is permitting. If I had all the time today, I would keep myself doing all the reading that is required to be finished within the future four days. But I don't have time enough for that. Besides, when I have a little time of my own, usually not much, as I am engaged in my teaching, I I would like to spend some time online, leaving all the other things behind. lol

you are very wise my dear cupid. Her son is two years younger than mine. We have only recently been able to do the things you suggest. He have a standing playdate at her house once a month, and then try for a park or something similar at least one other time during the month. It is very nice. But somehow we always seem to talk about the kids. She is a well educated and accomplished artist and I miss our talks about things such as that.

I wish to be able to see some of my friends. I don't contact a lot of them since I have no idea what's going on with them. I even would like to be able to make my own money using my laptop to do that all day but I take care of my kids. I was wondering. Are you making some good amount of money on here and are you doing any other thing online that pays you to do something? I am with ehow, etc. On ehow, I'm laurie1979 which you can read my articles if you want.

I'll check out ehow sometime and look for your, laurie. I don't really make money here, some but not enough to really talk about. I can't really help out in the area of making money online. I'm sure someone around here would be glad to guide you.

Thanks. I was wondering about besides being on here, do you do other stuff online that you are making money doing? I already know some ways to make money at home. One of them I need to work on is get paid for posting at forum. I'll talk to you later and I know that it's impossible to make really good money on here. Other places pays better than mylot does it seem.

Oh I sure remember those days. They seemed so long and time consuming with our kids but at the same time, they were treasured years. Fortunately I am at the age now I do have all the time in the world and can do most anything. Our kids are grown and married now. I would probably get a flight out today and go visit our daughter and her family. Sure miss our little grandkids. Only one problem, our daughter works and the kids go with her so they aren't home much.

I actually do have all the time in the world because I am older and at home, but I am almost always sick so I just stay home. Then I don't have much money either, so I either cannot go out because I am sick or I do not have money for bus fare. Yes it is hard when you cannot talk to your friend. Is it not possible to talk a little bit in the evening while the children are asleep?

Yes, that is when we sneak in some of our chatting. How about your neighbor who moved recently, are you two keeping in touch?

Well being a mother sometimes really put a hold in what you like in life. But I guess you can somehow ask from your husband to have a time off one of these days or invite your friend to come over your house perhaps so that you both could spend some time together.

Go to a spa with girlfriends, get a makeover, then sit at a cafe talking about life, love and learnings. Then call up some more old friends to come over (and see how fabulous we look) and go see a movie together, and just sit and talk until about the good old days and plan to make better days, until dawn. All that would be one dream treat for me.

Whoa! Today? How I wish the whole week. Today is just short to do all the things I want to do. Even me and my best friend, when we do the talking we can consume the entire day, but still not good enough to complete all our routines together. I wish I have the resources to travel out there for free. I would have love too.
