When Do You Decide to Buy PTC Referrals?

When you join a PTC program, what gives you that "warm fuzzy" to make the leap and purchase referrals and/or upgraded membership? When I first started out, I would always wait until I earned my first payout before I would even recommend a program to anyone. Of course, by that time, everyone and their monther was a member. To speed up the process, I sometimes go ahead and purchase some referrals to help me reach payout quicker but sometimes this was too late also. Now some of the new program are offering this cool little feature with their banners you can use. The actually show others in real time what you are currently earning! On August 30th, I joined three programs that provide this feature. Ten-Bux ($10 mininum payout), TeamBux ($0.50 minimum payout) and BuxOut ($5 minimum payout). With Ten-Bux and TeamBux, I purchase referrals the next day. I guess because both were providing 10 ads daily. Today (Sep 7th), I requested and receive payout of $4.78 from TeamBux and purchase some more referrals from them. Since I was so close to payout in TeamBux, I purchased more referrals in hopes of knocking that out in a couple days. With BuxOut, I told a few friends about it and that's all. I didn't purchase any referrals with them at the time because they were still in beta and didn't have any. With my next payout, I will try purchasing some there as well. Take a look at the banners on my profile under the "What's Hot" section and you can see my earnings in real time. I wonder why other members don't display there current stats like this... Cheers, Stan
