Who's the better chef/cook, men or women?

Well, I couldn't have thought of such a question. lol... too good for question ;) In my opinion, well, women are definitely better cooks. My mom cooks simply delicious, and my nanny is too good too. They both have their own ways and I like them both more than that of any of the restaurants or hotels. SO, even if the cook of those restaurants is male/female, IMO, because of my mom and nanny, better chef is a female...my mom. lol :D Happy Mylotting!

It depends really. Cooking is a skill that is developed. And if you have the heart for it, you'll be a great chef or cook. Incidentally, there are more men who cook than women so they say that men are better cook. Personally, I cook better than my wife. ;)

My gf cooks that well but to expensive her ingredients hahaha so she seldom really cook but if she cook well I'll tell you it's the best I've ever taste in my whole life. She was telling me that it's her first time that he saw a guy cooking that well and that is me hmmmmmmm. She likes my tinola fish. And she was telling me it's my first time tasted really tinolang fish in her entire life. I think it's both. I think cooking is a talent hahaha! Do you cook? What is your specialty? wanna tell me? Hello ace. It seems that the majority of chefs in big restaurants in China are men rather than women. But usually in a Chinese family, it could be either the men or the women who cook. So whom do you think is a better chef such being the case, please? Thank you for your discussion, friend.

For me, I think men is better in cooking because my hubby cooks much much more better than me. He is a chef and my family members like his cooking more than mine.

I think for me both.depends on their capabilities to cook well...Like me in our family, we love to cook.Specially me, i can cook a lot of dishes and diffrent viands.But as i see, mostly guys are the chef here in the philippines....I don't know why... happy mylotters!

So far cooking is concerned it is the monopoly of women.They cook well at home so dearly that even if it does not look so attractive,it tastes nice.But when comes the commercial cooking it is the men who cook well and present the dish nicely.But in this dish you will not find the nutritional values.In that sense the best cook award would go to the women.thanx.

Both can cook very well. I can eat from any one of them. Just as long as the food is properly cooked. And hands are washed cleanly..

I think the man one. Because I watch in TV, many famous cook is belong to man, but there are some woman who can cook very nicely. So it depend with everyone opinions. Keep post Happy myLotting...

hehe battle of sexes...nice topic...well for me its men not that I'm a guy...but we all know a lot of chef from all over the world is men... even when it comes to the known inventors and scientist... prejudice aside there still women who are a great cook too...
