Did anyone catch the new show TruBlood last night? I thought it was pretty good. It is about Vampires "coming out of the coffin" and living in peaceful coexistence with humans thanks to synthetic blood that kills the craving for human.
There is a girl Sookie, Anna Paquin, who can hear others thoughts. She befriends a hunky vampire and drama ensues.

I think that it looks like a great show. I saw the previews for it.
Unfortunately, I don't have HBO. I guess I will have to wait to catch the series on DVD.

That was a good book series. I am looking forward to reading her other books. I Went through a book a day on the Twilight series.

yeah, i just watched it today.
the first episode was pretty good introducing us to the storyline and characters, and the scenes from upcoming episodes look like the action will be getting more intense.
hopefully this will be another HBO hit that lasts for some time to come.

I haven't seen it yet, but I plan on catching at least one episode. I'm not a fan of vampires stuff, though, so I'm not too thrilled about it. However, I am a big fan of Six Feet Under and the creator did this show too. So I'll check it out because of that. I mean I liked Buffy back in the day for some reason, so maybe it will gain my interest.

I don't have HBO, but I read a lot of reviews of the show. Anna Paquin is one of my favorite actresses. Every review said it was really gory, did you find it really gory? But they all said Anna Paquin did the best acting job of anyone on the show.

i don't think that this show is not popular here in the Philipines yet but i would love to watch it because i am more into vampire shows and other action shows like moonlight and chuck. unfortunately there is not season 2 for these two series yet. waaah! can't wait for them to be released. looking forward!

Thats the show that came on HBO, right? ): Lucky! I was so looking forward to it, but, Time Warner took away our HBO - claimed we had been getting it for free? I don't know how that happened. We've lived here for almost three years and we've had HBO all along. I don't know, but, I really wanted to watch it. I guess I'll have to look for it online, lol
