worried about daughter with HPV and abnormal cells

I am so worried about my 25 year old daughter. She has a 3 year old daughter, the father did not acknowledge child. She had a yearly papsmear and was told that she HPV (Human Paparilla Virus) and also a trichomonas infection. She got a prescription for an antiobiotic to treat the infection. They also found some abnormal cells on her cervix. She is on Medicaid and has had to go through the health center to obtain treatment. She has to go the hospital to get a card so that she can have the health center make her an appointment to see a doctor. They said the they can remove the cells if they are precancerous with a laser. I am so worried about her. Has anybody else heard of this happening to anybody else.? I guess I'm worried that is has medicaid and won't have the proper care. I am praying that everything will be fine.

It's happened to me, I got treated for it, and I've been clear for over 2 years now.

My daughter will go back for her one year check up this summer. The abnormal cells were removed. There were no problems until now in March and April of 2009 when she started having problems with her periods. I don't know how things will turn out now. I hope everything will be fine though. I am glad you have been clear for the 2 years. I hope it continues to be that way.
