Tire Slasher!!

So that guy I was dating and was going to move in with (stupid idea) slashed my freaking tires early Saturday morning. We went out on a date and then to the Russian Club. Things were cool until he started texting some girl I've never heard of before so I got pissed and was like you need to just leave. So that was about 11:30pm. Then I went over across the street to another bar. He kept texting me and I was ignoring him. Well Saturday morning I go to my car and both my passenger side tires are slashed!! They have cameras in the parking lot so they let me see the tape and it was him. I went to the police and if I can identify him in the tape they are going to arrest him for criminal mischief. I had to spend $80 to get recaps on my tires. Man I really messed up on this one!!

All I can tell you is--Do not move in with this guy!! He showed his true colors by doing what he did. He's a jerk. I don't care how many times he may come to you to apologize, just do not continue any kind of relationship with him.

Good thing you walked away from this guy- he doesn't sound like a "keeper" in any way. I would suggest getting an alarm for the car and/or parking it somewhere else for awhile. Even if HE doesn't come back to do more damage, that doesn't mean that he wont have friends do it or even wear a mask so he can't be ID'd.

yeah next time I am going to either park it at my friend's house or maybe it's a good idea to keep it there since they have cameras so if something happens it will be caught on tape.

Good thing you found out now what kind of man this was. Sometimes people can get out of control and do things that are stupid whether it be living with the wrong person or slashing another persons tires. It's a good thing that the police were able to do something. Many times they can't do too much about stuff like that.

Well in a positive light you can look at it this way , better to find out what he was really like then to fall in love with him and have him go crazy on you one night . Have you thought of having a restraining order put on him ? Because of his severe reaction and slashing your tires I would be a little worried that he might start harrassing you or stalking you and would think about having him kept away from you before that happens . This guy really was crazy but you never know for sure what someone is really like so don't beat yourself up about it to much . People are together and sometimes never truely know the person they are with . There are lots of other guys out there and next time hopefully you will have better luck . Take Care

He's only contacted me the next morning which he didn't get a word in but hi. Then he text me the other night saying he hates me and I'm messed up in the head. Other than that he hasn't been harrassing or anything.

At least you found out how crazy he was before you moved in together
