When you get home, does your clothes fit differently, than they do when you buy them out of the store?

I do have trouble sometimes since I can wear a medium in some brands and a large in others, I always have to try on everything I pick out to make sure it is fitting properly.

oh yes, that happens all the time. I think the lighting in the store makes everything looks nicer too. then you come home and you realized, gee it makes me look short, stubby and many more. i had to return a few items because I realized it was not my style or did not fit me the same way.

Yeah since i have a medium built i pretty much make sure that if i decide to buy any readymade stuff then i do trial them in the store and then purchase them. But most of the time i buy dress material(i.e. unstitched clothes) and get them stitched as per fittings.

I have this problem sometimes with jeans. I will try on a pair and decide that I like them so, if they have the same brand and cut in a different color, I'll sometimes pick up a second pair, too. More than once the pair I didn't try on fit differently. I've also recently had a problem with new jeans becoming looser as the day goes on. I know I'm not getting any thinner sitting at my desk so I can only assume that they're stretching.

i am rather thin for my height .so i usually buy dress materials so that i can stitch them later.
