How do you use, or plan to use, your copy and pasting privileges?

As I am sure you all know, at 500 posts we get the ability to copy and paste here at MyLot. I was wondering how do you use or plan to use that ability? I haven’t used it much until now. Today though I realized that since I have a new job, with internet access, this ability will come in handy. My new bosses don’t mind if I surf a bit as long s I get all my work done, but I don’t want to sit on MyLot all day, but with the copy and pasting ability, I can write up a subject in Word (I’m doing it now), then pop on to MyLot and start a discussion, or reply to something in just a few seconds since I have already typed it up. How so (or will) you use it?

I havent used the copy and paste facility yet,but I am sure that I am entitled to having reached over six hundred posts, but to use it has not entered my head,I do not know why,lol but I just dont think to use it,maybe it would be good if there was an article on the internet or a recipe that was particularly good. You are fairly lucky with your employers there, they usually object vehemently to any employees using the internet for personal purposes during working hours.

Yeah, it's a great job that way. In all ways really. As long as all my work gets done they don't care too much about that sort of thing...

I'm still far away from 500 posts, but I think I'd primarily use copy and paste functionality to save my posts just in case something goes wrong. I've only ever "lost" a couple of posts here on myLot, but I always like to copy what I've written before posting anything in a form...it's what I do before posting a blog post or comment, for instance. I think you've got a good plan there to make some extra money at work!

I think, that at least under legal terms there is a certain amount that you can do, as long as you link back to the rest, but I'm no lawyer and could easily be wrong about that....
