tDo you believe that everyone has a soul mate?

How are you suppose to know when you meet yours? Is it like the movies portray? You finish each other's sentences and have everything in common?

Yes. And no.
Your heart will tell you, and his heart will tell him. But this is so rare, because most of the time one person thinks she has found her soul mate while that "supposedly" soul mate doesn't feel any connection with her. If you hav something in common and "finish each other's sentences," then you probably just happen to be compatible in certain areas of interests. Soul mates, i believe, are more than that. Your child, father or mother can be your soul mate. It is when you feel a connection stronger and deeper than love. It is more than physical attraction. Wait and see once you satisfy your physical desires for each other, feelings may wane, and you might get disillusioned. What movies portray do happen in real life...but in real life, things doesn't always end the way they do in movies.

Very true...we do have more than ONE soul mate in our lives though which is how mother, father, child, best friend etc can also be soulmates....We only have ONE intimate soul mate though in each life

Yea it really is without a doubt...its like you are inside each other almost..The connection is actually amazing and at the same time creepy until you get use to it LOL but it just can't be beat...

yes! absolutely! everyone has a soulmate. I think the problem comes when people assume they wont have to do some work to find them. My husband and i are soulmates. I have no doubt about that. We finnish each others sentences, we seem to have lots to say when we say nothing at all. I had to look in another country to find him, but i did and im so glad i did.

Yes everyone has several soulmates actually but only ONE intimate soulmate..as in lover..Does everyone get to meet theirs or end up with them? NO...but many of us do..I found mine some yrs ago and though the road has been rough we are back in each others lives which is good...Yes we have everythign in common, we finish each others sentences, know what the other is thinking, and basically fit each other perfectly....

No, that's movie hype and if you set your standards that high you are going to find yourself a very lonely person. I don't think that labels are important. When you meet someone you like, the relationship will either develop or it won't. It's possible to become so close to a person that you feel as tho he/she is your soul mate but don't spend your life looking for only that.

I not sure how you are suppose to know when you meet your soul mate, but I do know every one has one. When you fine your soul mate you'll just know, Idon't know how but you'll know it a feeling you get I can't tell you what that feel is. when you are with this person you'll alway want to be with him and you wont be able to stop thinking about him. You'll do things for each other when you didn't ask the other person to do it.
