Do you like onions and someone else in your family do not?

I love onions, I like them cooked or raw. I like raw onions on hot dogs, and in tuna, and macaroni salad. I like cooked onions on a hamburger is I have one. I like to put onions in everything. My husband is funny, sometimes he will eat them other times he won't. Onions, can change a bland dish into a perked up one with a delicious flavor.
Do you like onions but leave them out of your cooking because someone else in your family does not like them? Or do you make the same meal, one with and one without?

I enjoy the red onions as well. I like to put them in salads, I do not cook much with the red onion though. I prefer using the yellow onion.

A lot of children do not like onions, I think onions are a required taste, and sometimes, as time goes by they will begin to like them.
I was that way with cabbage, hated it as a child, but really like it now.

Everbody in my family likes onions except me. I detest the smell and the taste of them. However, I have to consider the rest of my family so I often put them in a salad or fry them with steak but if I had the choice I wouldn't even have them in my house.

Yeah, sometimes people will say they do not like something, but eat it anyway. Probably if your son does not see them, it's okay and he will eat, and sometimes it's mind over matter.

I also like onions! I like it in corned beef, in sandwich. I also use it in cooking. I used it in our meals and spaghetti. I love spaghetti saute in lots of onion. i laso like it in dips (with mangoes and shrimp paste and tomatoes) the only thing I don't like about it, is it makes me cry

Yeah, onions will bring tears to your eyes when peeling them but they taste so good. I like onion dip also, tastes really good on potato chips.
