Are you friendly to bugs?

I don't really let bugs go free anymore. If they get into the house, I hunt them down and swat them. I like to swat them just enough so they die instantly, but their bodies are still intact so I don't have to clean up their guts. Yes, I am rather violent! We have a lot of bees who seem to be camping out in a crack next to the front door of the house, so now I really have to crack down on them.

Hey if you can kill them with mashing their guts out, save them up for a while, makes a tastey soup.

Well, there is that protein, and a little garlic could just finish it off.

Bugs are not my favorite life form. So, no, I would say I'm not too friendly to them. I have a live, let live policy. If they find their way into my living space, however, all bets are off. There are some who spared my wrath, crickets in particular will get a personal escort off the premises. But, then I was told it is bad luck to kill a cricket. Roaches, silverfish, creepy-crawlys that look like they came from an alien planet, all die if they cross my path. We had this one bug show up that seriously looked like something from a sci fi novel. I had to swat it with a book repeatedly to send it to its next life. I shudder just remembering. But, if they're outside and pose no immediate threat to me (bees, wasps, fire ants pose threats), they are free to go about their business. I don't invade their territory, they don't invade mine. I'm sure they don't see it that way though.

I wouldn't really kill a cricket, because they're cute and I like their singing. But I would say that I hate centipedes most of all. Just they way they move their legs in such an arrogant, idiotic way. I think I would kill those inside or out. I don't mind worms though, but them make a huge mess to kill anyway.

I hold my hands up to admit that I am very prejudice when it comes to bugs! Some bugs I will happily let live and let free in my home without batting an eyelid or getting upset about or grabbing the nearest fly spray! Some I will rescue in the glass and card trick which I have perfected! Bugs that I will rescue and let live are spiders and I encourage them into the house to get rid of the other nasty bugs like flys, bees I will rescue and occasionally moths too Bugs that I will kill are flys, wasps, mosquitoes, woodlice and daddylonglegs or craneflies I will never kill a bee or a spider because they are Wolfie's friends

I hate bugs. I always swat them myself with whatever I can find to kill them. Either that or I use bug spray to kill them.

I can deal with some bugs in the house. Certain spiders, flies, and a moth or two aren't that big of a deal to me. The one that gets me are roaches. I can't stand them. I freak out and hunt them down when I see one. I have something akin to a phobia when it comes to living in a roach infested home and I just can't stand the idea of living with roaches AGAIN. I did it once before, and it drove me nuts. My new house is developing a slight infestation. I don't know why, since we live fairly clean. I'm guessing the landlord didn't exterminate as well as they said they did because we had a couple when we first moved in. So I guess I'm calling in the heavy artillary - I'm going to get a fumigator and get rid of these pests once and for all.

Bugs! Now there's a subject that sends a chill down my spine! As a child I used to be really nasty towards bugs! You know the famous magnifying glass trick? The one where you aim a beam of sunlight on the poor critter's back! Well, I used to do that, woodlice, ants, centipedes and catapillas! I've grown out of that now I guess. But, spiders I absolutely hate! They scare the living **** out of me! I don't kill any bugs now if I can help it. If they are in my flat then I try to capture them with a piece of tissue or something, and then I release them out of the window and introduce the poor buggers to free fall skydiving!

I love the spiders as they will happily rid my home of nasty flies and other bugs, I will never kill a spider and I welcome them into my home big or small. I used to stamp on ants as a child but I never used or heard of the magnifying glass, ouch! Hope you didn't do that to the poor spiders my friend ;0)
