time goes fast, and time may kill a friendship if two friends don't contact each other quite often, and time distances a relationship. for me, i've lost touch of most of my childhood friends, my college friends, even my supervisor who guided me to complete my master thesis. i feel sort of guilty that i haven't send a good-wish email or message to my past friends when teachers' day came, neither will i when the moon's day is coming, i was wondering why? do you send good wishes to all of your friends when a holiday or a festival is approaching, or kust some of them, or none of them?

The friends I had since high school are still my friends until today. We don't contact each other often and we're now in different places but when we need each other, we are still there for each one of us. And I'm happy that I've found friendship like that of what I have now.

I didn't really think then that hanging out with them was a bit tough because they're the active ones in school. I'm pressured about not fitting in but when I realized, I also joined contests and almost all of the school organizations. And I was so grateful that I became one of them even if I'm the shy type. aww..I'm starting to miss them now..LOL I'll text them later..

I have few friends. I do not believe in changing the friends. I have a best friend for the last 35 years and we are pulling on our this friendship will go with us till we are alive. Now we have become family friends and we use to visit each with families and we are committed friends.

I have tried to maintain friendship with past friends, but they all seem to have changed and are into different things now.We all just drifted apart.

I never do that!...lol... we only maintain communication through texting but we merely greet during special occasions.

I would be proud to say I have lots of friends in the past and now. But i just hardly talk to them. I used to have lots of childhood friends, but as i grew older, I started talking less but just a slight smile whenever i see them. Even recent years, my friends i met i would not talk to them. When time past, somethings you used to treasure might just pass too.

I have good relation with my old friends. From study period, we have good communication for a long long time even up to now! We have become good and dependable to each others families and kids also. If for example you have friends those not remained in contact, you may take the help of Internet or cellular phone service to make a path with them! Thanks for this nice discussion!

I still have good communication with my friends. From high school and college. We have remained in contact for a long long time. We've become godparents to each others kids, been maid of honors or best man to each others wedding. Nonetheless, if for example you have friends whom you have not remained in contact with you could always drop a card to say hi or there are other means...like friendster, tagged, multiply where you can all get connected and say hi once in awhile.

Change is just natural..we can't really maintain all our friendships cause of a lot of reasons, like distance, time etc. As for me, I have maintained my friendship with some of my past friends, like my childhood friend who I've met since diaper days. My friends in highschool and my friends in college.

It happens to all of us, for as we grow up and move on with times, we lose contact with all our friends except maybe the ones staying close by. We get so engrossed in our lives and work that the thread which bound us together breaks. Dont feel guilty, for that is life and each of us pass through this.

I wish I could, we all wanted to, but I think these are the things that happen through time. You could even forget a friend's birthday ! Still, we would be grateful with today's technological advancement we can get in touch to them through cellphones, emails and the like. I though have a friend whom we get in touch ourselves through sending sms from time to time.

I have a handful of "Good friends"; One I have known for about 13 years, she's cool, we don't speak all the time, but we she is one of my best friends, another, I know about 25 years... No ONG longer, she is a best friend also (from school), Gosh I love my friends, I would not be who I am today without em! Can't list them all, I love em so much!

Not really, Time really distances a relationship. I can't even remember who were my best friends in primary school. Oh well, we can always make more friends.
