I have a program called pop peeper who checks emsil automatically. I found it it useful since I have various email accounts. I try to keep time reading emails at a minimum, deleting headlines that are spam. skimming the ones that do not require much reading. Than I 'll dedicate more time to long emails to friends or relatives that are abroad.

Yes it does because it notifies you when an email arrives there is no need to check your inbox every half an hour.

hi! well, I check my e-mail regularly every day first thing in the morning as I turn on my laptop in the office. I spend about a few minutes going through the inbox, and replying to some if needed. Thanks!

I have at least 3 major e-mail accounts. One is business e-mail which I check only during work hours (every 1 - 2 hours interval). The two are my personal Yahoo accounts which I regularly check specially when I'm online in YM. I can see notifications so I know the sender & the topic. If it important I open it immediately otherwise at least 2 times a day.

hi divin, i check my mails daily. the first thing i do when i turn on my computer is checking mails. i keep getting a lot of mails and so i check it up daily. i don't like to check up when everything gets accumulated. sometimes the important mails gets deleted as they get in the spam. so i check my mails daily. happy mylotting!

I am terrible for this, always checking my 2 different accounts, perhaps I have to much time on my hands?
I have read in various business articles that you should only check daily to reamin productive, I think there is a lot of wisdom in this - if it was that important most people would call you. But I think people are dependant on email more and more, personally I am becoming rather insular and am losing the ability to talk on the phone somewhat.

When I first got a computer it was exciting to get email and I would check it every day and would sometimes check it a couple of times but over the years email has been less interesting . Unless I am waiting for an email from someone for something I don't even think to check it . I do try to get in at least once every three months though as I don't want to lose my account and have lost my account once before because it had been so long since I had last been into it .
When I go in it takes me forever to ween out all the junk mail from that I am really interested in looking at and have never actually been able to go through all of it in one day .

I usually check my mail only once a day.
I used to get a lot of mail before but now
I have unsubscribed from a lot of sites and only my good freinds have my email adress
So I dont need to check my mail frequently

I am a very organized person and I will check my AOL email and my Yahoo emails at least once a day, sometimes more if I am expecting something like if I order something online and I am expecting a confirmation email to my AOL account I will check it for it,and I usually spend maybe five to ten minutes in my emails because I do not usually have many emails to go through, and most of the emails I get are junk that can be instantly deleted.
