Are you right or left?

Which side of your ears you use to attend incoming calls? Is it left ear or right ear? I find it comfortable using left ear, rather than right. But many, i am seeing, use right ear. How about you? Are you right or left?

Yes, as you said, the most of the people used their left ear for attending the phone call, for both the landline calls, and also the mobile phone calls. I am also one among them, if i am busy with my left hand, i can use my right ear with my right hand for some time, but this is occational one.. During my travelling i use my headphones which is for both of my ears. Have a good day.

I use my left ear. I have no particular reason - I am right handed, so maybe it is that it's easier to write while talking. If for some reason I change to my right ear, it feels very strange!

I'm a righty through and through, So I use the right ear by default, but I DO try to use the left every now and then, to give my right shoulder a break, since I have to use the crook of my neck to hold the receiver so I can hold the notepad and right with my hand....YEP!

It depends on which side my phone is in, my office phone is always in my left side and my cell phone is also in my left pocket, but sometimes i use right ear to attend incoming calls.

oh thats so funny, ive never thought about it until just reading your discussion. I always listen in my right ear and I would find it uncomfortable to listen out of my left ear.

I am a lefty, probably learned from holding the phone on my left shoulder while I wrote down the information with my right hand. Now that I can't use my right hand to write, I need to switch the phone to my right ear, but it just is not comfortable. It seems as if I can't hear as well with my right ear.

I use right or left ear wherever I feel comfortable, like when I holding a mouse in right hand then I use left for my phone.

It is immaterial whether right or left as long as you get the messege right. However it is a matter of practice; one who works in a office is accustomed to using left for attending call over phone or mobile. However those who are lefty, would be tempted to use his left most often. I don't think it is significant any way, unless one has some physiological problem or diformity.

Hi there Snake Queen! I received an e-mail from a friend before saying that if you use your right ear for calls on mobile phone, it makes you more prone to have brain cancer. So I thought, well, better safe than sorry. There's nothing to lose, I guess so I use my left ear.

I always put cell phone to my left ear. Maybe because I'm left-handed and I feel comfortable when I use my left hand. Once I tried to use my right ear and found it very uncomfortable for me.

I always put the phone to my left ear, this may be because i am left handed or I was slighty deaf in my right ear when I was a child. I do hear better with my left ear, or perhaps I just think I can!!!!!

hi there, i generally use my head set when i talk in the mobile. i think that's the best. even when using the mobile without the headset i use the left ear. it is said that only left ear should be used cause the waves don't affect the brain directly. so it's not advisable to use the right ear.
