I used to find them all the time... But they would be stolen from me, or taking from me, and my family would give them to their friends or sell them, or throw them away. It made me so made as it took me forever to find them... and they appeared, on top of the soil, so I knew they were a gift from the Native Spirits to me..... so it made me mad an upset. Later on down the road, when it comes to b-day or holidays, People gave me arrowheads they had purchased on trips or powwows, So they at least tried to make up for it...... Been a long time since I found any. But I have found Effigies. I found one not knowing what it was, and had glued it to a board, and painted it to respresent my Native Guide.. Later I learned that Effigies were usually carvings to respresent their guides, so that was pretty neat.. I do have Native heritage, but it is not known which tribe band or nation, althought I been accepted among the Cherokee.. It is very interesting... - DNatureofDTrain

I never found any carvings, but we found pottery pieces and arrow heads every spring when my uncle was plowing his field. It turns out the Caddos had camped there for a time many years earlier!
