After a long working week, we need to have the rest and relaxation. Thank God it's Friday , as the saying goes ! On Saturdays, I usually just stay home, relaxing and doing things in the house. But, I like to out on Sundays to refresh and have a pleasant change of environment. I often go for a drive out of town , to beautiful and very scenic places and parks near the City where I live. How about you ? What do you do over the weekends ? Do you go out of town for relaxation too ?

Hi again! Your idea of relaxation is what i am dreaming of. Just to relax and drive around. I love going to the countryside but now i just can't do it. My Saturdays are market days for me, i shop for the family's needs for the whole week.I usually fix all the meal for the coming week. I go to work so,, i have to make sure that the food is prepared and done before i leave for work. Then, on Sundays i see to it that my and the girls' uniforms for the week are washed and ironed. I would be so lucky if i could have a couple of hours i can call my "me" time. Where, i could just sit on my rocking chair and read my latest book and a lot of hours on mylot. But to make it complete is if i can have the time after breakfast to read the newspaper, which i can't do during the week. Enjoy your weekend, my friend!

I usually just stay at home or sometimes go to the mall or hang out with some of my friends, eat and drink, I rarely go out of towns cos I'm always not in the mood to do so. Every time my friends plan on an out of town getaway for a day, I always say no because first, I'm not in the mood and second, even if I am in the mood, I have no budget for it.

hey greenline.. I just love to go out of town on weekends. My city is like the one where we have hundreds of picnic spots 2 hrs by car.. and atleast 3-4 hill stations near by.. so i try my level best to go out somewhere on weekends with family and friends. Its the most refreshing thing after an exhausting week.. MOREOVER YOU ALSO GET TO SEE ALL THE NICE PLACES Around your city.. Change is a must~~ But sometimes it so happens that after a long tiring week we wish to spend a lazy weekend at home doing nothing watching a movie, goin out for dinner or not even that. just spend the whole of weekend at home.. i spend some of weekends like this also. And sometimes there are lots and lots of pending thing to do besides work which have to be done on weekends. So its not possible to spend each weekend out of town for me..:) BTW nice disussion .. :)

No, actually, I find staying at home more relaxing than going out during the weekends. I mean, working the whole week is very tiring,so I think it's nice to have even at least two days of relaxation.

Usually even Saturday I still go to work until 6 p.m. and it's only Sunday that is a rest day for me. I just wanna stay home and sleep, sleep, and sleep and spend it on my room, watching t.v. and listening to my radio. I guess going out of town is to expensive,I'm also cutting cost of expenses. Everything now a days is to high and I have to make ends meet. Good Morning!

As much as wanted to spend the weekends out of town, I'd rather stay home and take a rest. With the prices of commodities going up we can't afford to spend more. That would be our family's dream, to spend a relaxation and bonding moment weekend out of town. HUGZ!

Hi, I would really welcome a peaceful and restful weekend. However, I have a weekly routine, that is, on Saturdays I would go to my parents' place - morning walk with dad, and then take my parents for their weekly shopping and lunch. It's only on Sunday that I can wake up late, and generally laze around at home. That's why I am sometimes too lazy to do any housework or entertaining! So enjoy your weekend!

When I was younger, my family use to always spend Saturdays out of town. Since I'm older and working now - we don't as much. I usually have to work. There are times we all pile in the car and just drive through towns on the back roads, enjoying the scenary (:

i am living in hostel and i have holidays on Saturday and Sunday. i love to spend my weekends outside my college. usually me and my friends go for outing on weekends. we don't go out of town because we have to complete our assignments on weekends so we don't have enough time to go out of town. we go out of town when we have semester breaks. on weekends we go for movie, shopping and sometime for dinner.

My weekends are usually as busy as my week, just not at work but at home. I do major cleaning on Saturdays because my week is so hectic I can't get it done then. Also, I am in school and I usually have to catch up on all my work by the weekend as well. BUT, if by chance I had an opportunity to be free on the weekend I would love to go somewhere else just for a change of scenary.

For the most part we just spend the weekend at home, doing nothing in particular, just relaxing, no schedule, no stress. During the summer months we do spend some weekends camping, no tv, no phone, no computer. A good book, and the radio. However, after being at home more than not since injury at work back in April, I'm ready for a weekend away. So, in 38 days I'll be headed south to my daughter's and she and I will be spending a weekend at a Scrapbook Retreat Weekend! And yes, I'm counting the days lol. Then I'll be making plans to fly to Texas for Christmas.

Money in the family budget is a bit tight. We usually stay home. We sometimes do some touristy events around town. Hit up the zoo or the museum. Or like today do something simple. We are planning a dinner picnic in the park. Just being away from the same four walls can be helpful.

I live in quite a rural area and spend the weekends walking, reading and catching up on chores and things. We have a lot of beautiful scenic places within walking ditance so I like to walk and do a bit of photography.

I do always stay at home.As im a fulltime mum. But when my hubby gets off on weekend we go out for a walk or sometimes if we have budget we go out to downtown. We are not always going to downtown because petrol is increasing and everythings gone up. So are saving, instead we having a long walk on the dales with my inlaws and baby. Happy myloting.
