Why am I sooo tired?

Why does it seem that when you sleep too much you are sooo tired when you are awake?

Of course you will feel so tired because you were suppose to sleep in order to regain the strength after one whole day of work. So if you did not sleep well that means your body and mind failed to get enough rest and therefore when you wake up you feel so tired. Sleep has many benefits to our body. It gives the brain time to rest and restore memories back, repair damaged cells, tissue, muscles. Sleep also give our heart and the whole cardiovascular system a time to break. Therefore if we get enough sleep it restores back the enegry and helps remove all the stresses. This is the reason why people who do no sleep well or have been deprived of enough sleep lacks energy as they wake up and they can't get enough concentration. We have to make it a habit to get enough sleep every day because it helps improve our memory, it will also help us live longer because we avoid getting sick and our immune system is boosted. It also makes you look younger.

Oh I am really sorry, I have misread your post my dear! It is very short and yet I've misread. Regarding your question, well I would say it is because your body has been inactive for long. Your blood has been used to no activity and therefore you need some stretching and some exercise to bring back the life in you.

Are you sooo tired because you are sleeping so much then do not get enough exercise to rejuvenate the oxygen in your blood which would then make you feel 'alive' again . You might have a problem with you thyroid , if you have an under active thyroid you would find that you may become tired or worn out sooner then if your thyroid is working normally. Your Doctor could test you for this but the diagnosis would not likely be immediate. Good luck.

Everything that is too much is bad for our health. Everything must be treated with moderation. Sleep only for atleast 8-10 hours but exceeding on that would make you feel tired. Less hour of sleep would make you feel incomplete and also tired because you have not reach enough sleep right for your body's need. Sleeping gives our body to recover from previous stresses.
