Missing Mylot....

oh dear you might have your baby on Mylot, that might be a first for Mylot, you may even get an extra point for that, maybe you could even call your baby Mylot.....

I've been wondering what happened to you minnie since I realized your time was getting closer and closer. I have no great words of advice for you but I guess the walking around routine is a good one for you to do....I just hope your little girl isn't a pain in the assets as I must have been to my mother. Her doc told her I was due to pop out on Oct. 31...yes, Halloween..LOL..instead I didn't show up and make my appearance until Nov 19th....LOL. Unlike you however, she had been told by her doc not to walk around and had to stay in bed most of the time.....think how boring that must have been for her

All I can say is just to keep doing what you are doing. She will come when she is good and ready or until the doctor says it's time to induce. The walking should be the thing to do and I hope you are remembering to drink your water. haha

hi minnie well when I was p regnant with my first one, we went on a car trip over rough roads with the thought that that might induce labor but no luck. But the next day I was feeling a little crampy and got up to go the bathroom, and boom my water broke, splashing on my legs, the whole bit. so I phoned my ob doctor who said to come on in to the hospital even though it might be a few hours as I was prime nip,first time mom. I called a c ab as my husband was at work. The cab driver took one look at my bulging belly and drove like a maniac to St Josephs hospital in Phoenix. I thought we would have an accident but did get their all in one piece. well it took all day and part of the night but I had my son at four thirty in the morning. I called myhubby while lying on a gurney on my way to my room and told him the food news. He was working as a cook for a movie crew who weree on location filmint the movie, How The 'west was one. lol.

OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOH How exciting! I was wondering when she was going to start making her presence. To hurry the labor up, play with your n!pples... I am not being dirty or weird, but it is something my doctor told me when I was pregnant with my 2nd child. The same muscles that control an org@sm are the same that control the contractions, and doing something to "excite" you will help set the contractions off and get you into labor faster. I'm thinking bout ya. Please report back in a few hours.

as you say she will come when she is ready, you just have to be patient and wait. I hope you will get back here soon, but then you will have all the responsibility for the new baby so it will be hard.

hi minnie i am quiet busy too and missing mylot for my sister who is pregnant like you gave birth already. she gave birth to a 2.9 kl baby but under C-section. i am the one who is with her all the time for her husband is at japan. he can only come here on the 4th of october for that is the vacation available. i am missing mylot too and missing you guys as well. but i will soon be back when my sister is home already. have a blessed day and take care. hugs

I know of two people that washed a car by hand then went into labor! LOL...but you are right...she will come when she is good and ready! LOL....we'll cross our fingers that it's soon!

Hi minnie, That waiting is frustrating isn't it. The doctors all told me to walk...walk ....walk. All mine came rather quickly. I don't know if that is what helped or if that is just how it was meant to be. It can't hurt.

Walking is good, drink plenty of water, relax and let those involuntary muscles do the rest.

well the Docs can induce labor if it comes right down to it hugs and good luck!

Hi minnie, I see you haven't responded anymore here, for about seven hours, so maybe this means you're in the delivery room, as I'm typing this. I can understand why you're so anxious, as I remember the last part of my pregnancy, I just wanted the baby here. It seems like you're doing all of the right things, to get going. Of course, she'll come in her own good time, unless you end up being induced, as I was. One thing my doctor did (but I was almost two weeks overdue), was to do an examination, and 'manually' try to get me to start dilating. Ouch! Anyway, I wish you all of the best, and maybe the next time you're 'here,' you'll have your beautiful little girl home with you. Take care. Hugs.

I know what an exciting time this is for you, minnie! Finally, after all the long months of waiting you will get to see and hold your new baby. My advice to you is to be patient. As you said, she won't come until she is ready.

It sounds like you are going through exactly the same thing that I went through with my fourth and my heart sympathises with you. I can also tell you now that all these old wives tales about things that will bring a baby on do not always work and your baby will come when she is ready too and not before! Good Luck though with everything!
