which do you prefer: listineng using headphones or big speakers?

well i want to listen in headphones because i want to share my favorite songs or type of music to other people... ahehehehe... i use headphones during night time to avoid distracting other people especially when they are sleeping...
some headphones doesn't have a good quality if it's cheap so you have to but the expensive one just to hear you favorite song or music in full quality... speakers is actually good only you cannot bring it with you unless if it's a stylish one... ahehehehehehe good mylotting...

I like both but I favor headphones. I like to listen to my music and sort of "zone out". Most music that I listen to has a meaning behind it for some point of my life, rather it be about having a baby, making love, breaking up (um i mainly listen to country..lol) So i like to sit and think of those things when listening and if i have speakers on i can stil hear all the other sounds around me..with headphones i can block out the other stuff.

I don't really like headphones. Those little ear buds always fall out of my ears for some reason. Maybe my ears are shaped funny on the inside. I like having it on speakers so you can move around and do other things without worrying about the headphones falling off.

I like using big speakers when I'm at home and there's no one else around to hear my music played very loud. I don't really want to disturb anyone with my music. When I'm not home, I usually use earphones since they are easier to carry around than headphones. I always buy good quality earphones because when I listen to music, I pay attention to the details of the music like drum beats and guitar riffs and the voice quality.

I don't really prefer one... I like both !! It just depends on the situation... If I'm at home I use big speakers but if not I use headphones.

at home i go for speakers but if i'm listening to music at work it's definitely gotta be earphones..

i want it either way. just by listening to my favorite songs anywhere can always make me feel good. i use my headphones when i'm alone. but i use the big speakers when i'm with friends.

i prefer listening using ear phones.
big speakers are a bit awkward for me, and it's a little painful in the ears when they are stayed there for hours. i like earphones better. they afit nicely inside and i just like it a lot.

I prefer speakers over headphones. The speakers don't have to be huge as long as the sound is external. I don't like having to plug stuff into my ears. It's not really that comfortable and on top of that, I can't hear what's going on around me. I'm not very particular with style and quality as long as I can hear what's being played. :)

It depends on my mood. If I feel that other people nearby might appreciate the music I'm about to play, then I use the speakers. However, if they don't seem like they'll appreciate the songs, or if I prefer to listen privately without any distractions, then I'll whip out my earphones. AFAIK, listening with headphones/earphones for more than an hour will allow bacteria to breed inside the ear canals, so I try not to use the earphones for an extended period of time.
