Does the Brand Name Matter?

We love shopping from shoes, jeans, tops, bags, perfume and evertyhing. some of us are very brand conscious. They don't want to buy a brandless tops, they don't wear jeans if it's not levis or jag. Everything they wear are branded. Some of my friends, really brand conscious, when we go shopping they never go to the brandless section, but they choose the expensive designers top. I was thinking that wearing branded stuff makes our personality good? What we wear does it reflect to our personality? Happy myloting!

I actually prefer non-branded shirts and denims (although I have one pair of Levi's 501s that I've been using for close to a decade). But when it comes to footwear, I will insist on branded especially since I'm quite the walker, so my shoes are vulnerable to high amounts of wear.

I actually like a lot of non branded stuff. It really depends on where it's from. I always find great stuff at bazaars and a lot of these aren't branded or are brands that aren't very popular. Anyway, I don't think a brand will reflect your personality at all. To some degree you can probably tell what a person's budget for clothes is by the brands they wear. But other than that, you can't judge other aspects of a person's personality just because of the brand they prefer.

Maybe not for most people but for me it is important to have branded thing. It's not like I have to have the most expensive brands of clothing but I like to have brands that are well known and that I have heard of and am used to.

What reflects your personality is yourself. You wear what you feel is you. Whether it be Brand name or not. It is about you, yourself, not the image of someone else. I for one would never see myself buying a pair of $100.00 jeans let alone a $60.00 pair of jeans. I shop at Payless for shoes where I would definitely get my moneys worth. I never let me kids get caught up on the Name Brands either. As they would expect that each and every year. I appreciate the less expensive things in life. It is not going to make me feel any less than anyone else. As far as others are concerned I feel I am the richest person on earth as long as I am happy and I have the basics of what I need to get by on.

That is true. Branded products make us feel special. Not only that, the quality of the product will be good too. I never look for the brands when I buy clothes for me. Because I look for designs only. But when I buy shirts/pants for my husband, naturally I look for branded ones only. When worn, you will be looking so good, if it was a branded one. One can easily distinguish between a branded and an unbranded one. They are worth paying them.

I was once there but realized that buying branded goods does not give me the satisfaction I am looking for. They are the same with non branded goods only that they cost more, we have to pay extra for the brand name. I need flexibility in choosing variety of designs and this can only be found in goods that has no popular brand but still is very much the same if not better than branded goods. Wearing branded clothings does not necessarily reflects our personality what matters most is we know how to mix and match our dressing up and the most important factor here is we need not show off to others with our most expensive designers jeans or dress and end up being a victim of branded goods.

The wearing of only brand name items of clothing, rainmark, is to me the height of vanity. The objective is to drive the cost of these clothes up and enrich the manufacturer. The clothes are not superior simply by having a famous name on them. I've never understood why people even wish to walk around looking like billboards when they are not the ones who will be reapin the benefits.

Brand does not really matter to me, and in fact i dun care for branded stuffs ^_^ I only care for comfort, and what brings the best in me ^_^ LIke how i think, if i dun look good in those fahion wears from all the brands, do i blame the brands for causing me to look weird?? I guess nobody will do that because they have spent a bomb on brands.. ANd that, even all others say it's not nice, they will still buy it, because they only care about being seen with the brand, and not caring aout they look good with it.. haha And for those whom are really familiar with brands and trends, they will laugh at those ignorant ones, but those ingorant ones will instead think that the ones laughing are those whom dunno how to appreciate branded stuffs.. lol In the end, it's brand whom will make ple a laughing stock.. lol

hello there friend! I am not a brand conscious shopper, I ma more to the style and how comfortable it feels to me (but yeah I know some clothes that are really stylish are also expensive) oh well but I do have good finds from Divisoria and the like bargain stores. sometimes I make my own dress, but well since you mentioned Levi's, the brand is not just expensive an known, but rather a good quality jeans maker too, for my hubby I chose to buy him good quality clothes (yeah like jag and Levi's) because it is harder to look for a nice clothe for men in bargain stores.

Hi rainmark! Wearing Prada, Gucci, Chanel and Burberry's is like you're a walking billboard. Of course, I have nothing against these brands because if you just can afford themI really do think that brand names don't matter that much. What really matters most is how you carry yourself, though you are only wearing simple. ordinary clothes. You just have to know what suits best for you or what looks better on you. When you feel comfortable with what you wear, you'll feel better and look better.

Personally, I think brand names do not matter. It's how one carries oneself that truly counts. I mean, even if someone wears branded clothes, for example, if it doesn't suit him or her, then it wouldn't look as expensive as it is. Some people say they feel pretty or handsome when they're wearing branded items. This is not the case for me. I feel pretty if the cut of the dress is just right for my body and it flatters my body type. I think being too brand-conscious is just a status symbol. Wearing branded items gives a person the chance to show-off.

Brand doesn't matter to me. I am a simple and I don't consider branded products as the most needed factor in buying clothes, shoes, bags and etc. My friends like branded things and when they talk about those brands I found my self out of place. For me, the cost of the products is the one that we must consider. As long as I have a dress I can go on with my life. ^-^
