I am a Roman Catholic and yes, I do believe in God. I was baptised in the the Catholic religion when I was born and at the moment I have no reason to change to any other religion.

I am a Christian, which means being a follower or disciple of Christ as stated in the Bible, and a believer in God. It is easy to put a label on something but there has to be works to back it up. To me it takes a lot more faith to believe in evolution than to believe in God. I see a lot more scientific evidence proving God than proving evolution. Too many people let others do their thinking. I like to think for myself. I'll follow the truth wherever it may go. Right now it goes to the God of the Bible. I would only change if there was incontrovertible evidence otherwise. So far I have seen none. The seven 24 hour day myth: Genesis1:1 states, "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." There is no time limit here. Whatever time frame proven science comes with, it fits. God is eternal, without beginning and without end. Science has proven that the universe had a beginning and that verse is very scientific. If there was a big bang, then God set it off. I'm fine with that.

I like your way to think "I like to tink for myself. I'll follow the truth wherever it may go." I tink more people should aply this sentence to their lives. there are people that is fanatic, and that's not good for no one. the quore of genesis, you have absolutly right. no time references. We will never know who have reason, sience or religion
