What do you do when you feel Lonely?

I come to mylot and visit with my friends.....or get on the computer and IM with friends or family.....so I really am lucky and don't have to be lonely very often!

When I am feeling lonely I try to talk to my love one but if she is not available I try to keep my mind occupied and do some work around the house or maybe even go out. If none of these work then there is always the option of mylotting.

hi dear eve there are hundred and one things which one can do when you are lonely. obviously it includes all the things you wd like to do in private and not in front of the others. besides the most favorite will be simply to lie down and relax. when you are alone your mind is rather inclined to be rolling ang saying to you what are you upto? planning about yourself listening to music and putting on the tv is the most impulsive thing!! picking up your book that you wd like to finish, just shifting the pages of the magazine etc.

I've never really felt lonely. I think if I ever feel this way I'll talk to Allah (God) because He is the Omnipresent. If I have no one I have Allah with me. In the holy Quran Allah tells us that if there are two persons some where then Allah is the third there and if there are three people then Allah is the fourth and so on and so forth.

I agree, music helps. Reading inspirational books also good. Calling a friend and chatting. Prayer also a big help.

I usually play games at the computer and meditate. I also know I'm not really lonely coz no matter what there are 'others' and other beings hanging out with me all the time.
