waking up to music

My husband has a cd alarm clock where he can choose which song to wake up to. Being a heavy sleeper he made a cd where all the songs are not slow at all, something to really get him out of bed! Recently he put Song 2 by Blur as the wake up song. So every morning I'd be in a dead sleep and all of a sudden...WOO HOO, WOO HOO....to say the least very obnoxious first thing in the morning. It ended up being even too much for my husband and he has since changed the wake up song. So does anybody else wake up to music and do you have any funny stories about it to share?

I used to have one of those, but it didnt work at all... not for the noise it made... it was because when I was still kind of sleepy, I would turn off the alarm and stayed in bed a little bit longer... well, a LOT longer I heard there's a new clock that you put under your pillow and, instead of an ennoying sound, it vibrates... It could be a good idea Xp

I can't imagine waking up to "Song 2." Definitely not your ease in to the morning kind of song! I prefer to wake up to music, so I used to set our alarm to the radio. However, my husband, also a light sleeper, just sleeps through it. Now we have the obnoxious buzzing every morning.

I used to use my iHome as my alarm clock and would choose the song on my iPod to wake up to. I stopped using it though, because sometimes too much noise when I'm first waking up can be stressful. I don't blame you for getting tired of that one song! Now, once I've gotten up a little bit, I love to have upbeat music playing to really get me in the mood for work and having a good day!
