Nope. I have not tried to clean my house. If my mom needs help, I will do. I never took initiative in cleaning. Lol. Thats because my home is almost a dungeon. Lol. My mom has the habit of keeping all the old things also. So its not possible to clean our home completely. Lol. Hehe. Only if my mom allows us to throw away unwanted things, we can think of cleaning it. Lol. I do clean my room when I was staying in hostel. I will do that once in a week. My room will be clean most of the time. Hehe.

I live by the old adage, "My house is clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy." I have three dogs and three grandkids who live here, so you can imagine that it is not the cleanest house in the world! I try to at least keep it presentable in case visitors drop in.

Hi Jillbeth, wow I like that and that is describing my home too, clean enough to be healthy and dirty enough to be happy, excellent, mine is a very happy home,fairly clean and fairly tidy with a bit of clutter her and there in the cupboards. It is all about getting the balance right eh! Ellie :D

I do a major vacuuming once a week,and I keep the floors clean. I also know where everything is, but I am not like my mother-in=law who kept everything spotless so you could eat off the floor and every day went with a dust cloth and did under every doilie and figurine and believe me, she had plenty. Oh she had hardly any books in her house, and even though they were mainly Christian Mennonite books, she hardly had time to read them, except for the Bible. The point is that she was too busy cleaning. I keep mine fairly clean but I do not go overboard. My point is that it looks neat and I am more concerned with papers and clothes on the floor than it being sp*ick and span. I have to have time to write my novel, go for a walk, be on myLot, and of course, I have Bible study and choir practice, plus there are the showers, etc at church if I had to spend all the time cleaning and dusting. I would rather be a Mary and sit at the feet of Christ, then a Martha, being encumbered with much serving.

Your welcome. I had to put up with my mother-in-law who was a neat freak, and she never had time for anything because she was always cleaning up, and you could eat off her floor. Of course, she had hardly anything to read because she was too busy cleaning to sit down much.

Oh I am not Mennonite, I am a Calvanist Christian in case you are wondering, Reformed Presbertyrian so that is the books I have. But that's another discussion.

my mom makes me clean the house all the time even though it hardly ever gets really dirty so yes the house is clean(in my opinion) but my mom could probably find things wrong with it.

The room I use for my office is a wreck, but the rest of the house is clean. My project for this weekend is to rearrange my office and get it organized if I don't have any work...

I do the best that I can, but I am not the worlds best housekeeper being that I absolutely hate cleaning. I would much rather go out to work if I had my way I would, but then I would still have to do it when I got back in anyway so I would not win there! Plus my house is massive, which means more room to spread out in and make a mess so it is hard, then there are four kids in the house who seem to just make a mess everytime they touch something!

Mine stays fairly clean. I can't stand a dirty house so I am cleaning something all the time. Laundry is always caught up, things get wiped down when we are done with them..so yea, I could say all in all, my house is clean.

Well, i can say presentable only, it is not clean but not dirty too. just in the middle. I dont have the time to clean everyday, i just see to it that the living room and the kitchen is presentable for the unexpected guest. the bedrom is just a little missy. But during my rest day i do general cleaning to make it neat and clean.

Hi there: all I can say is .I WISH! I WISH! I will be honest and just say, I detest cleaning...LOL! I've always been that way; its my parents fault, (G)! My Mother was a super MRS. CLEAN, MY DAD, ONE OF MY BROTHERS, they drove me NUTS with the chemicals and bleaching, all the time, We grew up on a farm, you're gonna have dirt, and straw, and grass and whatever else that comes in the house; My Mom, God rest her soul, just was the worst I think, me personally I always preferred to be outside period; I'd rather go clean out the pig pens, than be inside dusting, and mopping, and cleaning, blah blah blah..hated it just hated it! still do, since my neck and back injuries I cannot do the basic stuff, I do it but it takes me forever and it causes me great pain; My house is not filthy, but it is dirty...mostly cat hair I swear my darling long hair black cat sheds 2 lbs of fur a day...its EVERYWHERE and I've been really really sick most of this month and I'm way BEHIND in cleaning up the cat hair, yesterday I did manage to get my bathroom clean, shock shock...today I tackle the kitchen; but it goes against my grain...I hate cleaning I hate cleaning I hate cleaning...I'd rather be outside doing ANYTHING ( if I felt like it) than be inside cleaning, for one thing I can't breathe the chemicals too, again My family's fault..LOL! they OVER CLEANED AND caused me to have allergic reactions to chemicals, and get asthma; no joke! when I clean on those rare occasions like yesterday the house is opened up, fans running, and hopefully a good wind outside so I can breathe, and I'm on oxygen too, but yet it just plugs up my chest so quick...any spray, any chemical; ok I'm gonna shut up now...I'm such a windbag;

I clean it if I have had either a very exciting day or a very dull day. My room requires regular cleaning. So it's compulsory for me to keep my room clean.My parents prefer neat places. I have almost every thing I need in my room. So its also easy for me to throw the things then and there. I prefer seeing my room in a normal way than seeing it too clean. :)

No I'm a mess. But two areas of the house that I feel must alwaysd be clean are the bathroom and the kitchen. Those two ares are always spotless but as for the rest of the place, there's junk lying around all over the place

"Cleanliness is next to Godliness" is my MANTRA. My home is always 24X7X365 is crystal clear. I am a wife, a mother, and also a career woman. despite my house hold chores, cooking, taking care of my son' studies, and otehr regular home chores like sweeping mopping, etc., my home shines. you will not find a single cobweb or dust in my home nor on the tv, pc, tables, shelves etc. my neighours say that hey can dress up by looking themselves in the tiles of our portico, showcase glasses, kitchen or even in the marble floor. they also say that we do not require a mirror in our washrooms as our tiles sparlke. i come home by 6.30 from office, then bathe, look into my son' studies, cook feed my family, clear up the things, and set for hte next day, put my son to sleep andthen my real work starts which goes on until 1 in the night when i do all the cleaning work. so any midnight you come to my home also you wil find it shining, sparkling like a mirror.
