I want to save this year on heating costs since I noticed that the gas bill has gone up some this year. I have weather stripped the doors i'm going to do the windows also. But I know there is some things i'm missing. What else can I do to conserve the heat?

Well, my husband likes to keep the temp at 68 degrees during the winter. So that helps save. Of course that also means extra blankets on the bed and slippers in the house to keep the feet warm. We also put in new windows last year, double paned, which really helped a lot, but it's not easy on the pocket book in the beginning. But we've really been saving a lot throughout the year.

All our windows are fairly new, and we rent so i'm not gonna replace anything major. But I can do some of the smaller things that will help us save. Thanks for the response!!

I don't blame you, I wouldn't do anything major either if I was renting. You can also wrap your pipes from your hot water heather with insulantion which will help keep with water hot. I know that's done in colder places. Thanks for the best response, even though no one else answered.
