I know that most of people on mylot have been in college, are in college, or are going to attend college, and I would just like to know, on average, how much does every pay for all of their textbooks this quarter or semester? It does not have to be an accurate number, it could be just an estimate, but honestly, how much does everyone pay for textbooks? Last quarter at my college, I was lucky, and I only had to pay less than $200 for textbooks, but I know that this quarter might be different. I do not start classes again until September 25th, but I know that most people online are already back in classes, so how much does everyone here have to shell out for textbooks?

Hi roque, I am not studying here but I know when I will start looking for a job, I need to earn another certificate or course. My friend said, she is paying approximately $300 every semester! and she is about to finish her certificate this year! ANyway, in our Country, I never had a problem about textbooks, we will only rely in the library and do photocopies because we cannot afford to buy all our textbooks and professor will just allow us to photocopy!

This quarter, my university is on the quarter system, I got real lucky, I only had to pay less than $150 for three courses of books. I was shocked, but I know students who have to pay a lot more than that, and when I first began going to college I had to pay quite a lot for books.
