Taken a photograph and later as you were going through your shots, scratched your head and wondered "what the heck was I thinking?". I was going through some photo discs and had a few head scratching moments.

lol yup!!!! I still keep the shots because they make me laugh. I just started taking pics as a hobby. I have a good friend who does it professionally so he's helping. I've also captured some shots and said "WOW". It's fun and I love the shots that make you scratch your head lol. I made a folder and put all the "what the heck was I thinking" shots in there. It's good to go back once in a while for a good laugh when you need it!

Funny! Good luck with improving your skills. I am trying to sell some of my shots.

Not only that but if I keep taking pictures and then one day to decide to upload them to my computer, I find alot of pictures that leave me wondering when I took them being I don't remember.

i've never done that on purpose, but I have caught the occasional accidental shot when I was aiming at something else, and my hand shook, or someone walked up behind me and said something, or the subject of my photograph moved, or something happened. Thank God for my digital camera. LOL

Not only do I have shots that I wonder what the heck I was thinking, but I also have shots that I look at and wonder what the heck they are! I recently had about 25 rolls of film developed and there are shots that I looked at and spent 5 to 10 minutes wondering what they were. Some of them were when we took our trip to South Dakota. One or two of them fascinated me so much that I had them enlarged and framed. One of them even took a second place at the county fair! (I guess they couldn't figure out what it was, so they decided to give me a ribbon! LOL)

Haha! I can think of one specific time in particular! It was an assignment for a college photography class I was taken. The assignment was "texture". Well, of course the place to start for a texture assignment is macro, correct? So I put on some close-up filters on my lens and went around my house shooting macro photos. My mom was cooking dinner at the time, and she had just put some raw ground beef on the skillet to cook. So at the time I thought it would be great to get some macro shots of the raw meat. The next day in class, I viewed the images large on my computer screen. I almost threw up right then and there! What was I thinking? Why would anyone want to see extreme close-up detail of raw meat??? It's disgusting! It's all vein-y and icky and gross.
