Does anyone think it suddenly turned cold yesterday?

Was it just me or did it turn cold yesterday? I went into work and the sun was shining and although the sky was overcast it wasnt too bad. Popped out at lunch, it was a little colder but not too bad, at least no rain! And then I set of home, around 6pm and the weather, it was just awful. It was overcast, thretened rain but we didnt have any but there was a definate chill in the air and we're only in September!
