dear friends while travelling from kolkata to chandigarh via delhi , my baggage was lost. i mean it was loaded down at delhi itself and did not accompany me till chandigarh. how difficult to mange without your clothes and other necessities. though the luggage was traced and safely delivered but the tension and the inconvenience caused is serious. has it ever happened with any one of you? and how did you manage this affair?

It haven't happen to me yet but every so often we travel business class and our bag got priority baggage tag on it then we we arrive at the other end the bags have priority tag come out last. Its pretty annoying and I can imagine how annoying it is to have your bag separated from you specially if you got nothing with you.

Hi juhi06, I don't know what I would of done in an uncomfortable situation like that. I love to travel but I don't think I would of enjoyed that trip pretty much at all.Every since I was a baby I always traveled either by car or a bus to get to where I'm going and I made sure that my most important accessories was with me at all times, except for when I was a baby, I didn't know much about luggage then.

I have only travelled by plane and by bus a few times in my life, perhaps less than 10 times I suppose -- the rest of the time it is by car. Luckily, I have never lost my luggage. That would be quite a nightmare and inconvenience for sure! It's definitely an easy way to ruin a vacation!

okay dear bethany1202, small and medium distances can be easily covered by car but one has to match the distance with the time,. though i do not travel that much but since it happened it is one kind of an experience. the tension of not getting the luggage, the complaint , the follow up . arranging the things that you necessarily need urgently and the kind of stuff you know!! well good luck and happy mylotting!!
