The profession of a doctor was suposed to be noblest, but not anymore. The lure of wealth has turned the profession into a money making machine, where humanity comes last. A doctor, and a lady at that tried to sell a couple a small baby boy who was born in her hospital. The couple were shocked when they realsised that the baby was for sale and with the help of tv media, brought the womans misdeeds to the public eye through a hidden camera. Its a shame. The mother of the baby is also caught and in police custody. What is this world coming to ???

Well, if they didn't steal the baby, I don't think it's that big of a deal. The adoption system can be full of bureaucratic BS and infertile couples can become desperate. I'd also have to learn more about it to be sure. It's not uncommon for women to "sell" their babies, but all it really is is compensation for the cost of carrying and having the baby for them.

There are so many orphanages here in India where an infertile couple can adopt a child. This doctor was not going to give any money to the mother, was going to sell the baby to the highest bidder. Its wrong in my opinion. Here, girls are sold to brothels too. If strong action is not taken, the whole thing might blow up in ones face.

Oh, I thought you said the mother was being charged as an accomplice.

Sadly what you say is very true. The profession has become a business, and many of the doctors of today are resorting to unethical practises in their profession. Sale of babies although even sometimes on the requests of the parents has been going on for some time now and when it is done without the consent of the parents it becomes pathetic. The doctors whould be punished severely in such cases. Incidents like these and the organ sale business should not go unpunished.
