Your Dream laptop?

What are your dream laptops? Are they sleek, small and elegant? Or are the big and wide, the perfect replacement of a desktop? How about a multimedia laptop? Or are you like me, preferring powerful gaming laptops with impressive graphic and sound capability?

This is actually perfect timing with this question. My parents recently said that I could buy a new laptop because my family needs a new computer, so I designed a custom one from HP, the Pavilion dv7t series. The way I designed it it had a 2.5 GHz processor, 320 GB Hard Drive, 3 GB RAM, and a big 17" diagonal screen. Then with the stock market crashes last week they said I can't get it, or at least they won't pay for it. So now I am trying to figure out how to get it, but yeah it is my dream laptop.

Ah, I totally forgot about the customization from HP. Isn't that quite expansive?

If so, do look forward to a revise in the Macbook line somewhere next month. Hopefully, it will be a revolution just like the iPhone.

My dream laptop would be elegant with a big screen. I prefer desktops, since they are much more powerful than most laptops. I'm often playing games, so the laptop should also have pretty good specs, and should be able to run Crysis at the highest graphics with 30-40 frames per second. That's my dream, but I expect it ain't any cheap :P

Truly agree. Laptop with great specs are overpriced. They cost as much as 4 times more than a desktop with the same specs.

I am currently having DELL laptop and pretty happy with what i have. What i don't have in my laptop right now is the webcam, but however i have managed to put an external webcam and i am enjoy working on that. Right now it holds a big stand in my life, without which i am handicapped.... as i work from home and this is my only friend who is always with me and serves me the best...

I'm pretty happy with the laptop that I have now. It is medium sized and is easy to use. I really like laptops and am very happy with being able to sit in the living room and using it to do my work. It is a great thing to be able to use a computer comfortably and not to have to worry about anything.
