Sandra Bernhard: The liberals perfect Representative.

Always the class act, Bernhard. Is claiming that Black guys are gang rapists, And they are after Sarah Palin. And of course Liberals think she is Hilarious and will defend her to the end. I think she is their perfect representative and can only help McCain/Palin get elected.

It only shows and proves more the reason to break with these people. Whether you agree with Sarah Palin's politics or not you don't make threats and no one should tolerate it. From either side.
I'm disappointed in Sandra. I have long admired her for a statement she once made when she was pregnant and a man in the audience asked her how pregnant she was and without missing a beat she uttered: "Pregnant as I want to be."
Now she's ruined that classic moment for me.

Sounds like she should be locked up for making racist comments likely to incite violence. She is clearly incapable of being in politics or any public position.
I think it is quite funny watching the American election campaign as a non-US citizen. Obviously the candidates and their parties think American voters are so stupid that they will vote for stereotypes rather than policies!
The choice is between and old man and a young woman against a young 'black' man and a old white man! Why do the politicians think that the voters will vote for a woman just because she is a woman? Do women only vote for women? Do people from the black and minority ethnic groups only vote for another from the same ethnic group?
To me this is pandering to the sexist and racist elements of society and I hope that the ordinary unprejudiced people in US society can stand up and rise above this trivialised debate.

BubblyIan, we can say some of the most vilre things in this country and it is perfectly legal, the same freedoms that let me say what I believe, lets others do the same, no matter how hatefull, vile, racist, sexist, what have you, it may be.

Thanks for your comments BubblyIan, I always like hearing from people of other countries.
I have to agree that our government takes us for fools. Unfortunately, in many cases they are correct. So many people don't see the dangers of electing the wrong person. Socialism has definitely taken a foothold in this country. to the point where I have even personally heard people say that they are socialists. and the Communist party doesn't even have a candidate this election. They are supporting Obama 100%.
The media tries to make this election about race and gender. But the reality is I would never vote for someone "just because she's cute". I and most Conservatives that I know vote based on experience and voting record. No Candidate is perfect, Obviously, but I try to decipher the spin from the reality. So many in this country vote based on looks or gender or race. Or how well they speak. And they don't just ignore the red flags, They block them out. It's like "The Power of Positive Thinking" Gone horribly Wrong.

Why is no one calling Sandra Bernhard being labeled a racist, except she is a liberal and liberal cannot be racist. For Bernhard to threaten a political official with rape should be a crime, and it probably is, but Sandra will not see jail time because she is a liberal. Imagine if a conservative had told Hillary not to come to Fort Worth, Texas or she would have been raped. Some do not deserve to be treated as equals. In a civilized society people like Sandra Bernhard should be second class citizens. Anyone that would advocate raping a woman because of political differences is truly the lack of civility in a person.

The only thing worse than Bernhard's comments is the fact that she has ANY fans at all. But there are people on the YouTube comments sections defending her and cheering her on. sad
But on a positive note. She's helping solidify McCain's base. A month or two ago,I was undecided. But everyday I see stuff like this, I become more and more sure.

HOLY KRAP! ROFL. She sounds like one of those drunks at a party everyone tries to sneak away from or ignore, and who is she to be talking about hair???
I guess I shouldn't be to suprised, this is pretty typical of the hollywood crowd. Most don't know what their talking about so they make up for it with stuff like this and made up facts and then hope the magazine/tabloid reading sheeple will just go along with it and they usualy do.

I just heard that comment as well. I thought is was a joke when I heard it. Not her joke but that the commentator that was sharing that was making it up.
That is so over the line in so many ways I can't even believe it. First just the threat that she would be gang raped. Are you kidding me? How is that even a little funny. Then to say that black men would do it. Oh my God! It is racist, anti-feminist and just plain crude. You never hear things like that from the right. (thank god)
