Finally after months of waiting and anticipation I finally got to watch Hostel 2, I wish I had seen it on the big silver screen but none of my friends wanted to know, they don't share my same fascination and love of horror films I thoroughly enjoyed the film, and it had a great storyline, providing horror films have good story lines and not gore for the sake of gore I think I prefer the first film because you didn't know what to expect and the second one did go on the same lines as the first, I think the first was probably the most horrific of the two I tried looking to see if there is a Hostel 3 due out but there's currently only speculation and Ely Roth has bowed out. I would love to see Hostel 3 being made They have made or in the process of making 6 Saw films, so if they can do six of them, I am sure they can manage 3 hostel films. So do you want to see Hostel 3 made or do you think 2 is enough and it's time to close the doors of the Hostel project? Do you think Hostel 2 was gory enough and what do you think of the Hostel films? Or is there nothing that would get you to watch it?

Hi there wolfie34 I don't ever watch horror movies, I really don't enjoy them at all. I'm just a scaredy cat really!

I would love a friend who loves them as much as me so we could go to the cinema together and watch them or at home, but none of my friends like them, one is still blaming me for having nightmares the last time I took them to see Final Destination LOL! But don't worry I'll let you off, they are not everyone's cup of tea!

Haven't seen The Burning my friend, is it gory or just scary, or both?

Don't think it was articularly gory, can't really remember it was a long time ago and only watched it just the once! You'd probably be really disappointed with it, I think it came out in the early eighties!

I really liked Hostel. I haven't had an opportunity to watch Hostel 2, but I definitely will. And if there is indeed going to be a Hostel 3, I will watch it too. I am a horror movie buff, and Hostel was one of the best I've ever seen. But if you don't like gore, I don't recommend it!

Hostel 2 is a must! I think I found the Final Destination films more scarier and gorier than Hostel and Saw. Have you seen those, they are pretty horrific and gory!

Was that the one that reminded me of 1984 or was that another movie ? :)

I enjoyed number 1 better too. I would like to a third Hostel sequel, maybe they will. What really got my attention and scared me was that something like this is very possible in certain places in the world. This movie reminded me of that movie "Turistas" and that is another movie that has made me hide my passport.

Geez Wolfie, Why do you want to watch movies with people who would yak all day long? I watched both Hostel 1 and 2. The difference is basically, well, version 1 grossed out the guys and version 2 grossed out the gals. So there is now a version 3? This is new to me. So tell me, they have done the guys and they have done the gals. What are they gonna do in 3? Amoebas?

Well for fear of outrage and upsetting the audience I think children is out don't you! So they could always do a mixture of guys and gals, although I am not sure of amoebas though but at least you made me smile!

I loved hostel 1 but thought number 2 was stretching it to be honest and thought the storyline was weaker, gory yes good no!
