When it's time for change.

When we decide that it’s time for big changes in our lives, it is wise to ease into them by starting small. Small changes allow us to grow into a new habit and make it a permanent part of our lives, whereas sudden changes may cause a sense of failure that makes it difficult to go on, and we are more likely to revert to our old ways. Even if we have gone that route and find ourselves contemplating the choice to start over again, we can decide to take it slowly this time. Do you agree?

I would agree. However when I was praying for change in my life I got knocked up, married, and moved out of the country! All I really was thinking about was changing my haircolor or maybe my job...be careful what you wish for!!!

Those are very nice thoughts and I do agree with you. Quick changes can be quite unsettling. But easing into it gives you the feeling of a calm flow.

Hi Rozie, Thank you for commenting. You are right about quick changes being unsettling. It so much better when we can just flow. Blessings.

It happened to me regarding my diet. I managed to make a drastic change in my lifestyle but I was not able to sustain it in the long run. I think I would prefer small changes gradually than drastic change in life.

Well, I made a decision to loose weight ,so I could feel better about myself. It hasn't been easy ,but I already lost 20 pounds ,and I feel great. I'm 5'5" and at this time my weight is 154 pounds ,and my goal is to reach 135 pounds. I'm going slowly by maintaining a balance diet since starving is not the solution.
