Hey guys! I think mylot is serious about enforcing the mylot guidelines. I have opened my email and decided to respond on my friend's discussions from my notifications received and there was one friend of mine who posted I think around 10 discussion about pay to click sites but all of the discussion was deleted by mylot. So I think we should really be careful when we're going to start a discussion regarding pay to click sites. It can cause our earnings when our post gets deleted and so are those who responded to our post.

Yes ofcourse.. MyLot is not a place to get the referral for your other earnings websites.. Every members should strictly maintain that to avoid giving the link of his/her other website link to get the referral through mylot.. This is really a bad one.. this needs to be avoided.. Even if you really help your friends in mylot to make them to join with you in your other website, you can send them a mail to his personnal mail id, and have a discussion there and ask them to join.. But as a public forum of MyLot, this is not fair to place your add.. this is strictly needs to be avoided, we ourself should avoid the same in future, we should allow mylot to watch and delete, we should maintain that much of decipline with ourself.. Thanks for the discussion.

I had my share of deleted discussions.lol The discussion that mostly gets deleted are with referral links & PM me type discussions. Previously i started discussions asking PM me. so they got deleted. Now i am careful when i start a discussion on money making. Because i don't like it when they get deleted. Also i avoid those discussions that asks PM or have referral links.

There is also the rule about repeated discussions. If a site is missing and a user asks where is the site and then another 10 discussions asking the same question arrive on the scene they will go The rules are there and if they are not violated the discussions stays. There are many users trying to get the money interests cleaned up and all the users are made aware of this - we even help and warn them and lose time and earnings ourselves posting warnings on disucssions containing violations. It's good to know that MyLot DO clean up though!

Hi friend! Though I never posted links from the very start but I will be careful now. I think its scary now to post in money making category. The discussions that got deleted never had any link on it or PM words.

Thanks mysdianait. I was not aware of that. iskayz, i think it is our duty to inform violation if we see that kind of discussion. So if they get deleted then users will not start repeated discussions again.

The bigger the user numbers get the more chance there is going to be that rules get broken so I am not surprised that mylot are taking this stance. It is important that everybody keeps as up to date as possible with the guidelines. As you have rightfully said already, someone making the mistake of posting something they shouldn't affects everyone that took the time to respond when the discussion gets deleted!

Yeah so we must also take into consideration other users here especially our friends. But whats confusing to me is that, the discussion that I received in my email never had any link posted. It wasn't actually promoting the site or anything like that but it still got deleted.

ten discussions does sound a bit much--and annoying to sort through when your looking for discussions to post to

Rules are rules. I made the mistake of putting up a discussion that had one of my referral links in it. This was before I re-read the rules again, and a fellow mylotter warned be about such posts. Now I try to abide as much by the guidelines and rules as I possibly can. I am still learning about them all as I go along as well because things can be changed as more users come here to post.

Yes, avoid putting referral links in your post. That's the common violation here in mylot. Keep posting and goodluck!

yes i think we have to be carefull enough to be on the safer side as it matters to the earnings. but sometimes it happens that the person might start or write a discussion and he have skipped out some points to remember from mylot from his mind and by mistake the person is started the discussion which is not accepted here and he have to lose the earnings. its really dangerous and better we keep all points in mind before writing anything.

I agree with you that we should really keep in mind all rules before posting anything. Especially if we're going to post about money making. That's why I don't post a lot in that category cause I think it's a bit complicated category.

i know none of us want to have our money reduced so we need to be careful about even responding to this sort of mail.especially if it going to have something to do with breaking the gudeline and policy of our job.iam not trying to lose money here iam trying to gain money and if that means watch the policy iam all for it.

i think that's right. i noticed my pay being deducted because of it too. and though i am not quite happy about it, it's their rules so we really have to stick to it... and it doesn't feel go to have the earned money deducted so we should be careful in the discussions that we respond to or we are just but wasting our time and effort! happy mylotting..

Yes I agree taht it is good that MyLot is cleaning up the site and deleting posts that violates the guidelines but it seems everyday that my post total goes down and believe me I have been careful about which discussions that I am posting in! And there isn't any violation in them but they are still getting deleted, sometimes makes me feel that I am making posts for nothing as they will just end up in the bin. Also I don't think that it is right that MyLot don't check the discussion first before they delete it to make sure that they are no violation in it and another one is that why do they delete the whole discussion when say it is the person who made the 10th post that has made the violation doesn't seem fair to me for the 9 that post before! Sorry just having a little Rant.... I will stop complaining now

I am so glad that it is happening. I have guessed that sooner or later this would be happening and I guess this is the time LOL. I am so happy that myLot become serious in this matter because there would be more and more spammer in this site because of myLot is a big community and it would be easy to get many refs from here. I still wondering when the 'report' button would appear in the personal message features, so that we can report the spam message from a friend

I had to start a new account because a lot of my posts were against the guidelines, I didn't mention any other paid-to sites though and I didn't lose any of my MyLot earnings either.

It was deleted basically because I was discussing very personal problems with other users and people that knew me found out and became involved and it all got a bit dangerous!
