Do you have any pets ?

So many questions. ; ) Anyways, I had 2 hamsters a few years ago. One was very mean, the other was fine. Usually I wasn't home, so I got a few of my relatives to take care of them because they liked animals. I had them for about a few years until the mysteriously disappeared. I got a hamster because my relatives were scared of any pets that were more than a few inches tall, and didn't live in a cage. The hamsters were a Christmas / birthday present, actually.

I have always loved pets. I took me many years as a child to convince my parents to let me have them. then i started off small. turtle, fish, parakeets, hamsters. and I remember how excited I was to get my first kitten and How bad I felt to find out how allergic I was to him. But that didn't stop me.. many years later. i found a cat that did not make me sneeze- she was special. i got allergy shots to help. But still I always wanted a dog. boy I had to wait til I moved out -and even then I moved to an apartment(no dogs allowed) so I got hamsters and they numbered up to 50 at one time -and then 2 years later I finally got my first dog, and a 2nd one a year after that. now 20 years later I have never been with out a dog. I now have 4. and I have always had cats too, because I wanted the dogs and the cats to grow up together. I now have 8 adult cats and 12 babies. I love surrounding myself with pets. they love better than humans- unconditional!

I love pets especially dogs, unfortunately I am not allowed to have any in my apartment building. When ever I move from here I will have a couple of dogs.

I currently have a dog, who is almost 7 years old. In the past, we've had 2 or 3 hamster, and several gold fishes. The hamster were more my sister's pets, as she was the one who wanted them. I had one gold fish of my own, as it was part of a fifth grade assignment thing. And the rest were my sister's, I believe. As for my dog, it was my mother's choice to get, though my sister and I really wanted one and would often ask our mom why she didn't want a dog. My dad didn't have any objects.

I have a Pembroke Welsh Corgi, three cats, an African Grey parrot and a cockatiel. Two of the cats we adopted from a rescue and the third one was a stray that we took in.

I have 3 cats and 1 puppy. All but 1 of the pets were rescued- so they were 'free.' The one that was not rescued is the daughter of one of the other cats. How we rescued the cats/dog is a long story, but now they have a loving home for life.
