My shopping plan for festival has got ruined :(

It is very sad for me. i planned that i would go for my shopping for the fdestival next saturday. I was delaying as at this point only the shop I generally buy from is giving favoulous gifts. it was planned 2 months before. but last week some guests informed they are coming this saturday. we proposed them to come on different days but they are reluctant.Now it seem svery bad. they are rigid and we can't go another day as that sunday its impossible to visit there for so much rush. its last weekend before festival. I am shattered.why it happens to me always

take a day off from work and go for shopping if possible or if half day works for you than go in the evening.now one thing is sure that those guest wont budge and would definately make it a point to be at your place for the weekend. so now only you will have to mould yourself and your plans. dont just think that it happens with you and just sit on it try and make a fall back plan always if the first plan fails.even if the guest are coming you go on that day the time before they reach your place.
well even i have a relative experience for the same.i have a family function coming up for which i am suppose to buy clothes but due to lack of time i am not able to but yesterday my mom made it a point to compel me to join her for shopping by cancelling my other plans which i felt very bad about.juz cheer up and dont think that it always happens with you...take things in lighter mood.
