Sorry is the hardest word...

Do you think it's true? I find that it's hard to say I'm Sorry...I can say it on card, letters, emails...just not say sorry face to face to that person. What about u?

here are ways that you can say sorry 1. I'm feeling defensive. When I feel defensive, sometimes I say things I don't mean. 2. I'm not talking to you like you are someone I love. Let me start over because I do love you. 3. I know I'm sounding angry, but I'm feeling extremely threatened. Let me take a deep breath and try again. 4. I know you're feeling harassed. Please bear with me, I will do better for you. 5. I'm afraid if I say I'm sorry, you'll make everything my fault. 6. I'm sorry. I think I was using a tone of voice I did not mean. 7. I think I'm overreacting. 8. I guess I haven't been listening very well. Please give me another chance. 9. Please forgive me? 10. I know I've hurt you. What can I do that would help us get happy again? 11. I've said some mean things. Can I take them back? 12. I'm making it sound like it was all your fault. I know that's not true. 13. I know I sound mad now. I'm sorry and I haven't stopped loving you. 14. I love you, I hate fighting, and I'm sorry for my part of this one! 15. I feel lousy about what just happened. Can we just make up? Don't forget the best two words of all, "I'm sorry."

smiley - smile
i usually don't offend anyone or do something bothering unless i know i am right..so if i am right about it i don't see why i should say i am sorry...and there are people who harmed me also and never said they are sorry,so this made me a cold person too,...it might be wrong but it's adapting to the world we live in..yes i know, then comes the question why not trying to change it?..i did try and with honesty and good willing,i only got harmed and dissapointed..so now i try to take things as they are

Yeah, I agree, can be difficult to say face to face, because you are also admitting you are wrong and showing you had a weakness (in being wrong) when you admit it.

To say it and really mean it is very hard to say - especially to the people we love. To say it because you've bumped someone down the street is easy but for a big issue to friend and family is very hard. It takes a big person to say they are sorry - no one likes to do the wrong thing and when you say sorry you are admitting to doing wrong.

I really dont say sorry to my friends and my love. If it is really formal relationship, i would say sorry. Or else i will never use that word. If i have done something wrong, i will just go talk to them normally, and talk about th situation and say i should have done that. I never say sorry. I feel the word so formal, whcih cant be used everywhere.

I'm sorry - I'm sorry
Some people say the "sorry" like they say the word "water". I think, valuable "sorry" really is a hard word to say. And if you really mean it then you really have to look someone face to face.

Sorry is hard to say face to face, I agree... but in instant messaging and txt messaging, emails etc... its not so hard. I do say sorry to their face though... its just hard to get the words out... and my stomach get the mean as butterflies.

Saying Im Sorry is difficult because it is an outword expression of admission of something done wrong which taps into our pride. Pride is the KILLER. It will kill relationships, friendships, but mostly your spirit. So master the words. Children benifit most

Not if you truly mean it and I never say it unless I do.Sometimes it's just not enough though and I must do something extra..buy a present,do a favor, spring a surprise.Whatever works.

........say sorry and feel it - i am sorry
its true, especially when u know u r not wrong but had to say sorry for pacifying the sittuation. for me its subjective. i can say sorry to my close ones even after knowing that i was wrong, saying sorry to them is no big deal for me. but professionally i get screwed up on the thot of apologising to someone i dont like.

well I don’t think so that sorry is a hardest word and I think if you make mistake so you have to do first sorry and then talk it will not get you down it will always get you up because if you say sorry to someone so he/she will thought that you are a person who except their mistake and say sorry so it is a good thing…

If you want to truly rue for what you have done, you have to have the courage to apoloigise and say sorry. It might be te hardest word till you utter it, but once done, it might be the most pleasant.
