What is the favorite thing your Grandmother cooked/baked?

I have so many my grandmother did that it is hard to choose she was a fantastic cook. I think I would say fried pies then biscuits and gravy (she would get up early to make me biscuits and gravy cause it was my favorite).

My Grandma use to bake allkinds of cookies and when we visited her she had this one table that would always be covered in baked goods. Before we left for home she would always give us some to eat. Yummy.

Your grandma sounds wonderful. My grandma always made such good food for us and she always knew what each grandchild's favorite was, no easy feat since she had 7 children who had anywhere from 3-7 children apeice.

Yes my mom came from a family of nine and I'm from a family of seven. So knowing what each granchild liked was no easy task.

Homemade yeast rolls! As kids my brother and I insisted on them ever dinner we went to at her house. When she wasn't able to make them any longer, I took it upon myself to carry on the tradition. It took awhile for mine to come out as good as hers were, but I finally mastered it. At Thanksgiving my son asked me for a batch to take to dinner at his girlfriend's house. Then my brother wanted me to make a batch for dinner when he came on Friday. And when my daughter was coming for Christmas Eve, the only thing she wanted to make sure I was making was rolls.

I loved having Sunday dinner at my Grandmas. I am not sure when these dinners ended. We had them often when we were kids. My favorite was her chicken, biscuits and gravy. She made the best.

As a kid we used to spend a lot of time at my grandparents house. They lived way out in the boonies (more so than we did) and I loved going there. I loved spending the night and waking up to the smell of biscuits and gravy yum.
