Since I felt like slacking off yesterday I decided to check out the new feature on Flixter.com of allowing you to watch full-length movies. I selected Planet of the Apes starring Mark Wahlberg. It had been several years since I've seen it and I really enjoyed the movie. I rarely take the time to just relax and watch a movie. I came away from it feeling refreshed and relaxed. Do you watch movies online? Where do you go to watch them?

Oh what memories, when we had our other computer... I used to watch many movies and old shows..Some on youtube and then some on veoh. That is how my son got to see the Bee movie and Horton Hears a Who..When we get our computer back, that is one thing I am going to do, though I might be able to on this computer if my husband can fix the sound..Because I have "seen" videos and they look fine, just no sound..

Have you checked your sound card, carmelanirel? I remember the first computer I had. One day the sound just was no longer there. Eventually my daughter came over and went into it and found that the sound card had been shaken loose. I never had another problem with it.

I never thought of that..Is the sound card difficult to find? My husband said he could get sound on it, but he never seems to have the time..

Sometimes I do. I rent movies from netflix and that also includes watching movies for free. The last movie I watched from there online was "The Contract" with Morgan Freeman and the guy that played in "Martin Child" I can't think of his name right now. Anyhow I enjoyed watching it. I also go www.ovguide.com. It lists all kinds of free movie sites. I haven't been there in awhile though. I don't think I have heard of Flixter.com but I will check it out.

Yes I looked at it after I read this discussion. They seem to have quite a few movies. I saved it in my favorites

Wow, I am showing my age when you mentioned Planet of the Apes I immediately thought of Charlton Heston, the original film, made god knows how many years ago now, was it 70s? I had completely forgotten about the new version, they have done that a lot with films haven't they, re released them, Omen, Poseidon etc. Not a film I would enjoy to be honest. I don't watch films online as my computer screen is too small, I just watch dvds. I love watching James Bond films over and over again they are relaxing for me.

I was a real fan of the Planet of the Apes series, wolfie, and didn't know if I'd like the later version. I think it was well done, however, but not as good as the original(they seldom are)! I have a nice bug monitor, albeit it an older model.

I meant "big", not "bug."

I don't watch movies online. I just download them. Planet of the Apes remake really sucked. I like Burton's films but this one is terrible.

I liked it well enough, Bionicman, but everyone is entitled to their opinion.
