Well dad had his check up prior to surgery tomorrow. Seems that according to his catscan done late last week his kidney etc are all looking good. he was told he has 3 lesions on his bladder which are to be scraped off tomorrow and collected. They will perform a biopsy on them as well. In a weeks time or so we will know what, if anything, has to be done after that. So things have a green light for his surgery tomorrow. I won't be on much tomorrow. Maybe after 6 at night possibly. His surgery is at 1 p.m. So we won't get home till 6 or so is my guess as they want the patients to stay a few hours after surgery for the anestesia to wear off etc. Thanks all just wanted to fill you all in as usual. have a great day/evening as well. he loosk healthy in this shot doesn't he?

Not as much blood but still some in his urine.
We are hoping they are benign tumors etc as well.
Doubt if I take any photos with me tomorrow but thanks.

I hope they are able to fix this problem and you really need to take some time for yourself to rest, relax and de-stress before YOU have health problems. Care giver to a parent is stressful at the best of times and when they are having health issues it ratchets the stress up even more. Do try to take some time for yourself- it will help you both to be able to cope.

Yeah I've mentioned in here a few times I need a weekend all alone.
This sytress this month has been so huge as well.
maybe it is all over with after tomorrow.
I am hoping it is anyhow.
I need a rest desperately.

It doesn't sound bad at all so far. Best wishes and blessings going your way. Don't be surprized to find that dear ol' Great Grandpa may just have his nose out of joint a tad bit because of our precious little Savanna. There is something to be said about second childhood, but I do pray for good results you know that. I think your dad will be fine and you're right he looks good!!!

Hi grandpa Bob...
I will be thinking about Grandpa Senior...I hope all goes well with the surgery..They do like to make sure he is doing well, especially with anesthesia...

Well I hope that all goes well tomorrow for him, I am sure it will. And you try and keep yourself OK too, I know that any surgery is worrying when it is your family.

I need a good break and rest from tending to dad soon.
It is so stressful.
Maybe I can get a weekend away from the house alone.

Its good to hear that all the test came out good. I'll be praying for your dad, that the biopsy will be negative and that they don't find anything. He looks healthy, and I'm sure he's a strong willed person, he'll be fine...

Not that they came out good, just that they came out without any MAJOR problems.
he has some issues that are not serious right now according to the tests.
So in the future he has more to tend to healthwise.
Well I do actually, not him.

He looks very well there! I hope the surgery goes well and he gets home okay. What a relief that his kidneys are healthy!

hi Grandpa Bob then this is going to be an orthoscopy type, or bandaid type surgery? I had my gallbladder out that way and it
took me only a week to recover too and get back to workd.lol
Your dad does look good in that picture. my prayers and best wishes for you all and for your dad to get well soon and have good news too.

It is same day suregery.
They are going to scrape his bladder free of a couple lesions is all.
In at 11 and out by 6 hopefully.

By now dad has been thru his surgery and pray he came out of it with no problems. Will be looking for another update. Thanks for letting us know how dad is doing and the updates on the lesions.
