When you see this state what do you think?

I am from MI and I wonder what is the veiw from other states? Our state began to have a huge crisis a few years ago with mass lay-offs that put us in severe financial trouble. Now there is talk about trying to make another hollywood. With that comes corruption usually. I dont want any parts of that. What are your thoughts and beliefs on this?

Hello. I'm not from another state but from another country. I grew up in Ann Arbor
while my dad was studying for his p.h.d. We have since returned to our country but I have never stopped being homesick for MI even though it's even more than 20 years.
I guess a lot has changed since then but I will never forget my childhood home and dream of coming back to visit one day
