Which gives more earnings: Posting or Responses?

I see that there are many members who are getting lots of responses. At the same time there are many who posts a lot. Do you earn when you are getting lots of responses for your discussion? Or else you earn only by posting and responding?

Well to be very frank shamikabsb the myLot assessment system is really very difficult to understand and predict. I have tried to analyze out different things but some days I get one result and on others something all together different. So finally I'm confused and cannot come to a concrete conclusion. However from what I have understood if you post nice big responses you could earn quite a bit. As far as posts are concerned sometimes I have had many people reply to them but the earnings didn't show much of a difference as such. Mostly what I do is make discussions, respond to topics as well as upload pics in order to reach a dollar. But its not that easy too. Anyways all the best for your earnings, happy myLotting and have a nice day.

Thanks a lot for the response. I think the best thing to do is to forget about money and enjoy being with discussions.

Hi As far as I know, you get to earn on basis of your interactions her. I mean, whatever you contribute as in responses, discussions, comments to responses, images everything counts. But those have to be qualitative ones. Like proper sentences with right spellings and syntax, good thoughts that cater to the posts and try to contribute more than 3-4 substantial sentences. Its actually proper participation that counts more than anything else. Good luck Happy mylotting.

I think it does. They have softwares that can do that, it's very easy actually. And if you ignore that visible earning bit, don't you think it feels good to be near perfect and a good write up earns you positive ratings and not to forget the best response! I would love to earn both actually. That's the intrinsic, emotional earning, I guess, and gives us greater incentives in the form of motivation. Have a great day!

You have a very good point. But do you think that our spelling and grammer and the quality of the content we post is rated by some moderators than ourselves. Of course the quantity could be automatically measured. However, as long as you do good postings you can earn well. That's what you mean I think. Thanks for the response!

I think both!! Let me tell you that Mylot is an eternal mystery to me. We earn more points for longer responses, but we also earn for posting discussions. :) Cheers and happy mylotting

myLot paying system is not disclosed to its users. But I have found discussions that also lengthy discussion pays lot. Post having one or two sentence only will not earn much. Starting a discussion and getting responses will also paid by mylot. But quality posts you do will gain you more. If you upload a photo along with a discussion and you get more responses will help you earn more. I believe in a combination of both posts and responses. I do both, but prefer more responses. Happy mylotting!

I really don't get how the paying system works on Mylot at all, they haven't made it easy for Mylotters to work out. I haven't started many discussion but one I did start I had a really good response to and the net day I'd earned a fair bit so I'm assuming if you start a discussion and respond to it well, then mylot reward you for it.

I know one thing for sure. You must keep on writing. Then you will become interested so that you can earn.
