would you like discussions you've started to be deleted?

i have several discussions which i made that didn't get any response and somehow i wanted to delete them or want admin to delete them. I was hoping that myLot should set a time frame for discussions that have no responses for example if it has already been 2 weeks and still there have been no responses, maybe admin can delete these discussions already. what can you say?

Ya, but we should think why they are going without responses. It is wonderful. I think friends are searching here for more discussioins to post their response so that they can earn more. In such situation, why some discussions go unanswered. It looks strange for me. Is it the subject which friends do not like or the way we present them. We need to analyze more. Anyway I would like admin to delete such discussion as you told after some time frame. Happy myLotting.

maybe it's because we started our discussion in an interest not very popular among mosy mylotters. that's what i've noticed with the discussions i have started. the discussions didn't get much attention because people seldom visit that interest which i placed my post. have a nice day. =)

MyLot never delete discussions unless they go against the rules set out in the Guidelines. You could try PMing any friends you think might be interested in answering your discussions. You will see from the Guidelines that it's not recommended to start a new 'discussion' merely to draw attention to another but sending PMs to friends who might have missed them is a good way to go. Once someone responds to a discussion, it usually appears in the 'recent' list and may then be seen and responded to by other users.

thanks. i didn't know it is okay to PM friends when i have posted new discussions. i thought it was something against the rules. when i saw that my discussion didn't have any response, i just wanted to delete them. i was thinking maybe people just weren't interested in the topic where i posted my discussion. thanks for dropping by owlwings. =)

Another way that you can bring a discussion back into circulation is to add a comment to it (but it has to have at least one response, of course). That makes it appear in the 'recent' list. Try and do this when MyLot seems to be quite active. There are certain times of the day when this happens and you can usually detect this by looking at the 'new' discussion list from time to time. If there are a lot of discussions being created, then there are likely to be quite a number of people looking to respond to discussions.

i see, i have noticed that too. maybe time really is also a factor because there are times that it take so long for my discussions to be responded by other mylotters. you've been really a great help. thanks a many. =)
