I saw this commercial and got excited with the question. Honestly, I couldn't think of an answer. How about you fellow MyLotters, what will you do if you have 250,000.00 in cash?

It's good to know that there are people who would spend a percentage of their money to help others. Aren't you afraid of investing the 60% of your money in properties with the current economy?

I guess you're right in saying that the property sector will go up again since it is one of the needs of all the people. With the growing population, lots of people are needing a place to live

So what kind of business do you have in mind? Be careful in putting up a business, some businessmen says that putting up a business is like a gamble you will not know if you'll get luck or not. I hope that whatever business you put up, you will become successful.

I can think of a hundred things to do with my P250,000. I probably think it wouldn't be enough with all the things that i want to buy. First, i will pay off all my credit card debts. Second, I will buy a new laptop and an iphone. Third, I will set aside some money for my time deposit or savings account. Fourth, I will give the remaining money to my family. I would have wanted more money to buy plane tickets so i can visit my sister in arizona.

That will be a lot of money. I think you'll be spending the first 100,000.00 on gadgets. Then let's say that you'll be saving the other 100,000.00 to the bank and last, you'll give the remaining 50,000.00 to your family. I think, spending the 100,000 in gadgets is a waste of money. Also, saving the 100,000.00 in the bank is also a waste because if you invest that amount, I think you could earn more compared to just depositing it in the bank. Third, this is okay with me, since I also love to give money to my family

members from other countries will misinterpret your posting from Php 250,000 to $250,000. Hmmm... That's a lot of money. But in Peso, it's just like a small business that you can start with...

Yes you are right. But I intended my discussion to also cater to other countries, that is why I didn't put the peso sign. So, how about you? What do you plan on doing with the 250.000.00 in your hand?

that commercial that keeps on repeating...If i will win 250,000, i will give some for my church. Then think and plan for a business, maybe a food business. I will study a different course. My dream course. Then, probably i would give some to my parents, brother and sister. I will do just a little shopping. Maybe 250, 000 will not be enough for those. hehe.

I think your 250,000.00 will not be enough for all your plans. Putting up a food business will be costly because you need to buy a lot of equipments for cooking foods and also for the development of your place. I suggest, you put up your business first and if it becomes successful, you could gives some of the earnings to your church, parents, brothers, and sisters.

If I had that kind of money, I would pay all of my bills, buy a condo, and put the rest in a bank and let it draw interest.

Here in the Philippines, 250,000.00 is not enough to buy a condo unit. Condo units here costs more than a million pesos. I also think that if you just put the remaining of your money in the bank, it will not earn enough interest and in the end, your money's value will not be the same as before due to inflation

If I had $250,000 I would first pay any and all bils I needed to. I would then put money in trust accounts for each of my kids. I would fund my business, and buy a decent vehicle, and a modest home. I would help out people who are really trying but need a hand up, and of course, help out my family. I would be sure to invest part of it to help build my future as well. $250,000 is quite a bit of money, but doesn't go nearly as far as it used to. Using it this way would be using it to invest in the future.

Nice answer . I guess 250,000.00 is a lot of money in your country. Here in our country, 250,000.00 is a small amount. You couldn't buy a house, a brand new car, or even a good business

if the amount is denominated in usdollars, then have these money converted into pesos - buy house & lot, transpo units, invest in fixed interest bonds to finance university expenses of children, built a chapel and do some donations to charity. Stay retired in mind and body, just play regular golf. Enjoy the company of family and friends. Develop new relationships and strenghten existing ones. If denominated in pesos, amount is too small. deposit it for the university expenses of the children.
